I was very disappointed by my hair service. I asked for a balayage, and showed my stylist pictures of what I wanted. I asked if this is something that could be achieved and she said yes. My hair looked nothing like the picture by the end and she gave me an ombre, not a balayage. I have had many balayages done before and this totally ruined my hair. The blending on the top was uneven and blotchy, and my ends were green. At the end of the service, she did not even turn me around to see my whole head. When I got home I was horrified. I called immediately to ask for someone to fix it. Thankfully she was very nice and redid it for me the next day with some help. The results the next day were much better but the technique and blending were still not even. My hair was fried on the ends and I went somewhere else to just dye it one color and cut it shorter. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses, but I would rather be told that a service cannot be done than having my hair damaged/messed up. Overall it was over $200 and 6 hours waisted. I received a gift card for Mother’s Day so I could treat myself to a massage and a couple of pedicures. While my massage was good, my pedicure was horrible. My pedicure was supposedly booked with a certified person, but during my massage it was changed to being with a student apprentice. That should have been my first clue because it is a duplicitous practice. As for the pedicure itself: the scrub wasn’t scrubbed at all, it was lightly wiped on and then rinsed off. My cuticles and calluses were not properly addressed, and the painting is a joke. I was also still cleaning the clay mask off myself the next day. When my husband asked to see my feet that afternoon, even he said “you got a pedicure?!?” Honestly, he should have taken $53 and flushed it down the toilet and then had our 6 year old paint my toes, it would have been better workmanship. I cannot wait to go back! Chelsea did an amazing job with my pedicure! My feet were horrible! Massage chair was awesome and so was the complimentary wine! She asked if I wanted red or white wine I said red but accidentally brought out white so she gave me both! She talked me through what i could do at home for my feet and answered my questions! Super easy to talk to! I rarely do anything like this for myself because of money but my husband and I both know I needed my feet done very badly so he saved up money and said it was my valentines day present! I will definately be splurging like this...
