DG Market — Local services in Penn Hills

I was at the Dollar General by my house yesterday. There was a line, and the employees were laughing, but still working to stock shelves. Some dude behind me complained about them laughing. You can laugh and work at the same time. Also, if there is a self checkout, it was probably installed because there are only a couple of people working at a time. To any customer who behaves like this in a store, unless you are willing to go apply and fill the worker shortage then shut your mouth. You're literally a huge part of the problem. Me and my family have come here for pretty much all grocery related shopping for the last 4/5 years, but this past couple months it’s been chaos. I know with COVID it’s harder to get food into the stores from vendors but they were wiped completely clean. That set aside though, there was a horrible smell coming from the fridge that lingered after just having the doors open a couple of seconds. We just decided not to buy anything from that area but even after we stopped opening it people noticed that smell in the aisle. Too much inventory in small store. Untrained cashiers cannot perform job well due to poor management. Front entrance cluttered with unnesesary products that create fire and safety hassards. Unsanitary break room. Health hassards all around store due to cleanliness and safety hassards due to unorganized clutter in store. The only thing I ever buy here is bread because Dollar Tree, which is a far superior store on almost all levels, does not sell bread.
