Why 2☆¿ Bcz the service is fake & sketchy, even when the nice guys are there they are looking over their shoulder like "is it OK to be this nice?" .. "Let me check the price with.."

The way they do the pricing is wack. "It's like 3.99. See the sheet" "The Sheet had many prices. Which one should i go by" "We have our own pricing in the back" - I'm Like what!?

Very lil things have prices so you have to converse with ppl vs browse quietly. Then acknowledgements are coy, Red Beard never even looks up, but stays nice enuf until you pay, then it's "yeah yeah bye, get out"

Found him to be slightly prejudice against ppl that don't "fit in" but your money is welcome. "Do you even know what __ is?" !! 5x he questions me like a scholar to a student. Not taking the hint that I want stooping to acknowledge what he was doing.

There are hundreds of items to choose from & much cleaner than other similar store. Even when inventory is being brought in. All the meat/fish was frozen, nothing fresh. Very high prices & some reasonable ones too.

Visiting is harsh, but if can overlook the Crasp behaviors when you have to ask the prices or whatever...

Bought rice from this location about a month ago. Opened it up today (factory sealed) ready to make some, and it smelt like playdough. As I went to wash it, there were moths that floated to the top. When I searched online for an explanation, some sites have regrettably informed me that I bought poor quality rice or very old rice. I'm not too much of a rice advocate, but I just wanted some good rice. I usually go to the market off of Olive for my rice (which is significantly better), but I happened to come across this market and happened to try it out. Truly not what I was expecting today. This store definitely lends itself more to East Indian than Asian. They have a very nice selection of frozen meats, for various dishes including oxtail & fish/shrimp. Very nice selection of Indian spice and bulk sourced as well so if you’re looking for those, you will likely be happy.
