My husband's beautiful ring was botched being resized at this jeweler. After initial resize he left with a completely different looking ring. Bevel almost completely gone, no matte finish. He decided to take it back and show them the picture of the original ring (which they should have taken pictures of upon receiving as well) and was met with horrible customer service and rude remarks. He was told he didn't understand how resizing rings works and was even asked if he was accusing them of stealing his original ring?? Completely unacceptable as a business owner and from people who claim to be passionate about fine jewelry. They begrudgingly agreed to try and replace the matte finish, but that was also clearly done without care. Wedding rings are lifelong keepsakes that are arguably the most important possession a person can have. Really disappointed with the result of this experience and would not recommend to anyone.

Went in to have a vintage brooch looked at and also brought in a box of jewelry to potentially sell. The lady that helped me made me feel super unwelcome the whole time. She acted as if she wished that I just left already from the moment I walked in. First she told me when she saw the box..."We only deal in FINE jewelry." I told her that there were some pieces of fine jewelry in the box and that I would consider selling some of it to her. I sorted through the box to hand her some things that she might have been interested in and with each piece she acted as if I was cutting her arm off. I sold her about $60 worth of junk silver and I took the rest of my box down the road to a jeweler who was much more appreciative. To him I sold all of my gold that was in the box and he was happy. Just wanted to share my experience at Merritt Jewelers. Had several items designed,resized & fixed over time & can say never been disappointed! Kevin redesigned a ring for me, placed 2 opal p.e. that my daughter gave me before she passed on the ring. Turned out just beautiful brought tears to my eyes. Made 2 pendants out of heavy turquoise P.E. one I kept ,other gave to my best friend who's son passed too at a young age. Next found beautiful jade & silver tooth pendate my husband wore when we met in my jewelry box he fixed the loop which had broke off🤗 I definitely would recommend Merritt Jewelers for sure as never been...
