Living Spaces completely messed up my order by sending my furniture to the billing address instead of the delivery address I specifically requested. I called customer service, and they just kept repeating that they couldnāt change the shipping address because my store credit card had the billing address listed. I spoke to someone higher up, but they refused to make an exception, even though this mistake was on their end.
To make matters worse, we had to wait three extra days for our original order to arrive. Now, despite their error, theyāre telling us weāll have to wait another three days for a resolution. So not only did they mess up the delivery, but now weāre being punished by having to wait even longer for something that should have been sorted out the first time.
Additionally, the receipt does not even list the delivery address, so thereās no clear way for us to confirm that they input the correct information when processing the order. On top of all of this, they didnāt even attempt to offer any resolution or compensation for their mistake. No offer of a discount, expedited delivery, or even a simple apology for the inconvenience.
Itās extremely frustrating that the company has a rigid policy that doesn't seem to consider common sense or customer needs. Instead of offering a reasonable solution, like reshipping or redirecting the delivery, I got nothing but a hard ānoā because of some internal policy that makes no sense in this situation.
This is poor customer service and an example of a company choosing policy over actually helping its customers. Iām highly disappointed with how everything was handled and would strongly advise against using the store credit card unless youāre okay with potentially being stuck with major issues like this. My husband and I had looked for a couch or sectional at a different location but were unable to purchase the set we wanted due to it being out of stock. I went to the outlet to see if they had something else I liked that would be in stock. The same sectional that was unavailable to order was there and we were able to order it to be delivered in about 2 weeks.
We were told at the other location, once we mentioned going to the outlet, that the outlet didn't have much of a show room and it was only a very small selection of furniture. Although it is smaller than a the typical store, it was much larger that the employee lead us to believe.
The only negative about the outlet has nothing to do with customer service but everything to do with the lack of A/C in the building. It made it so uncomfortable to shop in the heat we have been experiencing. I can't imagine how the employees can last their whole shift with the temperature in the store. That being said, in spite of the unbearable heat, all the employees were very kind and helpful.
Because of the negative impression given by the original store we visited and because of the friendlyness of the employees at the outlet center, we will continue...

Having someone available during 2-4 days at all times or the item is supposed to be left outside!! I can see it now. A nice new sofa in the middle of my lawn left in the rain. This absolutely out of the question because most clients HAVE A LIFE!!!! That includes me! Even the utility companies aren't that demanding or unreal! I would suggest changing that advisory.
Also, the advertising material indicates delivery in 5-6 weeks while the invoice indicates 16-18 days. To me seems like this is "pie in the sky" sales speak. So Living Spaces is saying that once Living Spaces has your money it could take any amount of lag time? I'm expecting somewhere in between is more realistic! I'm not a first time client so I kind of know "the drill". With all of the above being said, Jaymie was a real pro through it all, was very patient with me and informative with my requests! OH! And, this comment thing is not easy to bring up! I had to "really" want to leave a comment! Thanks...
