Disappointed with the Service- Poor Management Response
I recently visited the Farmer Boys drive-thru and had a very disappointing experience that left me questioning the professionalism and customer service standards at this location.
I placed a simple order for 3 drinks. The order was taken by the manager on duty, Kimberly. After placing my order, I pulled forward to the window to pay. Surprisingly, there was no one at the window to assist me. I waited patiently for over seven minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there. During this time, there were no other customers in line, so the delay was completely unexplained and frustrating.
Eventually, an employee named Wendy came to the window. I asked why it had taken so long just for 3 drinks, and she informed me that the manager had forgotten to put in the order. That alone was disappointing, but what happened next was even more frustrating.
I asked to speak with the manager, Kimberly, the same person who had taken my order, but instead of coming to the window and offering any kind of apology or explanation, she simply told me to āhave a great dayā and shut the drive thru window. There was no accountability, no apology, and no professionalism displayed.
This kind of attitude is unacceptable, especially from someone in a management role. If a manager is unwilling to address a customerās concern or even acknowledge a clear service failure, that speaks volumes about the leadership at this location.
Management at this Farmer Boys should seriously reconsider who theyāre putting in charge. A manager who avoids customers instead of owning mistakes and working to make things right does not belong in a leadership position.

I called my order ahead and was told it would be ready in 15 mins, so I drove there the drive thru line was so backed up deciding I had already placed an order I opted to go inside. When I stepped inside it was a long line as well I asked if I still had to wait in line since I had placed my order over the phone I was told yes. After another 10 mins or so Iām at the register and the cashier canāt find my order after a bit they āfindā it and I pay, I ask how long itās going to be since by now itās been about 30 mins since I had placed the order Iām told about 20 mins. I waited in the lobby for 25 mins and ask again they say again 20 mins. I step outside to place my drinks in the car and come back inside. The drive through was clear at this point and a customer that had just walked in got her food pretty quickly even though it was a large order. I get up and ask again and they couldnāt even find my food receipt. The cashier says āoh we can make it right nowā and asks for what I ordered?! I told her my order again and turns out they never made it they just deleted it like they did. The cashier asks if I still want it ? I mean Iāve been there for over an hour so I ask how long and says idk soon. By this time I had to leave because I only had a little time so I asked for a refund. Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst when I called in my order and Farmers Boys phone service was very staticky and very hard to hear this happened to me twice. Now I always order the pancake special usually 3 plates with a breakfast burritos.
However, this time I wanted a Pancake Special (1) and a French toast breakfast with bacon and sausage and hash brown on both orders. She let saying itās extra I was told when I ordered last get 2 sides with the French toast . Anyway I donāt care about the extra.
So I changed my order to the 2 pancakes special with sausage and 1 breakfast burrito. My order came without the sausage on my pancakes special.
I always have to return something or something is always missing . You have to always ask for syrup and butter. We all know those items come with pancakes.
The staff need to pay attention to detail Farmers Boys need to fix their telephones get extra WiFi booster boxes for clear communication.
Know what goes with each menu and as customers we really donāt care about the extra we want what we want.
