The salesman was very nice and helpful all throughout the vehicle purchasing experience. He did his best to make sure the vehicle was clean when I came to look at it and was able to answer all my questions I had about the vehicle. And in no way made me feel pressured at any point to have to make a decision on the spot. He was also very responsive to my calls and text messages and would get back to me quickly. The salesman was super friendly and knowledgeable. My reason for the bad review is for the finance department / manager who gives you prices on your trade in vehicles. I was given an absolutely out of normal range trade in evaluation for my vehicles. Around 5-6 thousand dollar low ball offer on both of my vehicles. I had already been given much higher trade in offers in salt lake at a few different dealers so I know I wasnât asking above the going rate. And they refused to negotiate at all after I sat down to go over numbers. I drove over 100 miles to get to this dealership after texting the salesman the day before making sure they had the vehicle I wanted in stock. I drove for over an hour and a half to get there the next morning and had to have help from family to drive the second vehicle there only to be told nope thatâs the best low ball offer we can give. So I had to leave as there was no way I was going to take that low of an offer on the vehicles. So as my suspicions were accurate that they thought they had me over a barrel because I drove so far and had help from family driving in the second vehicle that they could screw me over into accepting a low offer they called 2 days later and magically were able to give me the trade in value I had asked for on both vehicles. But just 2 days prior the manager / finance guy told me that there was absolutely no way they could come up that high to meet my asking price on both vehicles but somehow now they could. They like to lowball and play games here at this dealer more so than any other Iâve been to in the last 15 years. Iâve bought multiple new jeeps at almost every dealer in the state and have never been played with this much before. So I said ok Iâll be by in the morning to get the deal done. I had to take a day off work to get everything situated and call in some more favors to get someone to drive the second vehicle all the way up there again for the second time. All of which was a major hassle to have to do this trip all the way to Brigham city twice in a few days. After all the games were done being played the purchase went through normally as it should have on the first trip. So far the Jeep has been a total nightmare and I regret buying it. Itâs currently in the shop for the 4th time in a month and may be getting the engine replaced with 3000 miles on it due to a knocking noise. The overall quality of the vehicle is significantly worse than the Jeep I traded in. So bottom line is if your not local to this dealer make sure you call and ask all the questions you can over the phone before going, that way you can save yourself the trip and the mind games. If something doesnât sound right over the phone, it wonât get any better in person once youâre there at...
Read moreBought 2 cars from heritage, that side of the company is great and I would defintely buy a car again, especially Deacon, he's great! But if you need your car fixed avoid their service department at all cost! Between the gaslighting, the apparently extremely untrained techs and Brittnee at the front desk it is not a welcoming place. Back in 2021 I got my trucks tires rotated and balanced, and the tech did not tighten any of the lugnuts on the tires and I about lost all 4 tires on the road with my 2 kids in the car. Luckily I had a terribly feeling and immediately drove back and had them look at it. I believe the only way I found out what really happened is because my sister worked there at the time, if not they defintely would have lied and I firmly believe that! This last May we knew we needed to get my durangos AC looked at so we gave them another chance and brought it in. $1300 dollars later they say it's all fixed. Recently I started noticing that when I was idling in traffic or stopped at a red light the ac would stop blowing cold air. I brought it in yesterday thinking because they were the ones to fix it they'd help me out. Instead they charged me $100 to tell me they couldn't find anything wrong. I strongly believe they didn't actually run any indepth test just let it idle for a bit and decided I was stupid and that nothing is wrong. I'm so upset that not only did they charge me for nothing but they tried to tell me that I must have just turned my ac off while I was in traffic. We've given this place so much money these past 3 months and they couldn't do me this one solid. Gregory told me at the desk that if it happened again to bring it right back in, and I asked if I'd get charged another fee and he said "No, within reason", so I'm sure they would happily charge me another $100 if I were to bring it back. I'm so angry, I feel completely unheard, and just a dollar sign in their eyes! DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!
Update: Took my durango in last week because the ac was still having issues even though they supposedly fixed it April 2024 and checked it again July 2024. They told us it was something completely different and we would need to pay almost 3k to get a whole new ac system, then they tried to make me pay a diagnostic fee. I refused and walked out with my keys. We went to an auto repair place that offered free second opinion. Turns out, the refrigerant leak that they supposedly fixed in April of 2024 was never actually fixed and there was no refrigerant left in the system. Instead of replacing the whole system all we needed was a leak fix and the refrigerant replaced and now we're good to go. The Heritage service center is full of crooks! No matter how convenient it is to take your vehicle there since Brigham doesn't have a lot of options Don't Do It! Take your vehicle to Murphys Auto Repair in Pleasant View! And if someone high up in Heritage would bother to read their reviews I would love for you to reach out so we can discuss the amount of money you've stolen from us...
Read moreTook my jeep in for a tranny flush it ran fine. They shuttled me home in Brigham there was a lady there that stated her car has been back 10 times. I didn't think much of it. I received a call and said my jeep died and would not start. They would need to charge me to diag the jeep I said I would head over that way. When i get there, they said they don't know what happened and seemed to not care. I brought my scanner and tried to start it but unforetold it would not start I asked for assistance with a mechanic, and he turned it on with a jumper wire and said he would let it stay there for diag. I then agreed to the diag @ $150 an hour they would take a look at it on Thursday. Thursday came and it was getting late I didn't hear back from them, so I called Steven service writer, and he stated that he was about to call me but they haven't had time to get it in. I told him that fine. I understand he said they would pull it in when they got a chance. So now it is Friday same thing no call. I call them and say it's still not in they will be bringing it in shortly. Same thing I didn't hear anything back so i call again and get hit with the same line i was just about to call we need more time with it my tech spent an hour, and we still don't know where to go. I tell Stephen that we are in the same boat that we started and that won't work he said it in the shop, and they can't diagnosis it until next Friday which blows my mind. So, I go to Oreilles use my corporate account and but a fuel pump relay just to try to diagnosis the jeep myself. I show up there with my dad and my jeep is still parked outside they didn't even look at it so my dad expresses his frustrations, and they say you don't have to pay for the one hour of diag which I wouldn't have anyway car was still parked in same spot. Service manager comes out like get these guys out of here but then talks to myself and my dad and provides some assistance with bringing out his mechanic. I'm frustrated and feel hustled by this dealership i call a mobile guy soonest he can come out is on 10/2/2025 and he changes one fuse it fires right up Word of caution proceed at your own risk this place is a clip joint and will take every penny you allow them to stay far away from Heritage Jeep if they weren't trying to hustle me they would have had their techs check a fuse this was planned screwing Don't say nobody warned you not to take your car there they are purposely hustling people to pay for that...
