Hickman's IGA Perry — Local services in Perry

It is not fancy. It has a good selection but not an extensive selection of goods. But what it does have, and a great reason why I go there and enjoy poppin' in there, when I do, is the people. I kid you not, the people who work there and the customers who shop there are like a fresh slice of Mayberry Pie. They are personal, friendly, helpful, and down home salt of the earth folks. Sometimes, I just want to turn around and go back into the store so I can visit with them again. Listen, the store ain't fancy, but the folks who work and shop there sure is some mighty fine people. Love this small town grocery store. The owners are very welcoming and are always eager to help. The cashier's are very sweet and have gone out of the way when I had an issue arise while doing business with them. They were able to accommodate my needs and had me on my way with all my groceries.
