Showcase Laundromat — Local services in Perth Amboy

I went to this laundromat for the first time on Sunday Feb 11th and it will be my last. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I put my clothes to wash. I left for 10 mins when I came back my clothes was taken out and put to the side. I asked the attendant "why she would do that?", I don't think it was right for her to touch my clothes it's disgusting (in my opinion) Right away the attendant went off on me. started speaking to me rudely and raised her voice. I knew the conversation wasn't going anywhere and therefore i walked away. I can still hear her talking in spanish. a few moments later I was having a problem with a vending machine and i walked over and asked her if she was able to assist me. She said no but I can write a letter to the machine company. Told me to speak to her only in spanish (last time I checked we are in the United States) I then proceeded to ask her for managers name and when I would be able to contact her. She interrupted me and said she will speak to her tomorrow herself. The other altercation I had was when I was drying my clothes she shoved her car onto mines and that's when everything took a turn for the worse. I was so upset that a worker had no respect for her customer who are spending money there. To be disrespected like this and have a worker curse me out in front of other clients it's extremely disrespectful. I got out of character which rarely happens. Very upsetting. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. BEWARE, YOU WILL BE DISRESPECTED!!! WORSE IF YOU DON'T SPEAK SPANISH DON'T BOTHER STEPPING INTO THIS PLACE YOU WOULD BE RACIALLY PROFILE FOR NOT...

I am adding video and photo of my experience today at Showcase. One of the dryers burned my underwear. I went to Renee to communicate about the circumstance and she was kind to listen and contact the manager Tracy. My experience with Tracy has to be the worst experience I’ve had in terms of customer service. She was arrogant, rude, dismissive and raised her voice at me to practically blame me for my clothes being ruined. If she is the kind of person to represent this business, then I would suggest you take your clothes somewhere else. Tracy’s way of handling this circumstance lets me know that if you ever have a problem with something at Showcase, you will be dismissed at best and disrespected at worst. The washing machines are now $4.65 for the small ones, close to $7 for the bigger ones and drying is 79 cents for 10 minutes. Is it worth the price when you are also treated poorly? I don’t think so.

Update: after looking through my underwear, I was only able to save 4 of them. The rest is absolutely burned, this includes cotton material Tracy.

Buying clothes isn’t inexpensive nowadays and it’s disheartening when we are treated poorly on...

Time is inaccurate. Their hours say they close at 11pm but we were turned away at 9:25pm by an employee who didn’t give us a reason as to why. All she had said was/were “you can’t wash your clothes. You have to come in before 8:30. You won’t have enough time to use both washer and dryer”

If validated that you close at 11pm, It would be reasonable to be turned away by 10:30pm but we came around at 9:30pm… If it’s a new hours posted, then it should be updated ASAP.

If anything, hours are either wrong or they wanted to close early— Do not come after 8:30pm. It may say they close at 11pm but they start turning...
