Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia Labor and Delivery — Local services in Philadelphia

This past weekend I received very good at Einstein Medical Center and I was expecting all the worst after reading the comments. I was very anxious/nervous going inside for my csection. After being admitted in... all the staff beginning from triage to the maternity room were alert and communicated with me, were patient and reassured me that whatever my concerns were they were going to take care of me. And they definitely did. They didn't rush through anything which is why I believe 4 days postsurgery and I feel amazing. They educated me on my baby's follow up care, and she's doing great. My favorite thing was the organization. It was so organized! Even my going home folder📂. Its so organized, I didn't need to dig for paperwork and those who gets it will appreciate it. The baby passport for the baby doctors appts so freaking cute!

All my doctors, nurses, and the lactationist were so educated and attentive to me. I'm very grateful it was beautiful. I still wanted to get home but it was not becauee of them. They were amazing here. Thank you!

Never will I ever go to this hospital willing again. They gave me a “calming/sleeping” needle when it wasn’t even necessary on the word of an EMT worker who had something against me. How could you expect me not to be angry when first I was being threatened in an ambulance for throwing up on the floor, then when we arrived at the hospital I was sprayed with a hose, and lastly I was held down and my brand new shirt was cut off. I even sarcastically said after they said I was being aggressive “yeah I’m aggressive because I’m talking and moving”. Like come on now this hospital is a joke and I am very disgusted with the Philadelphia Fire Department EMTs. If I ever have a choice of what hospital to go to, it will never ever ever be this hospital I tell you that much. That needle was unnecessary, the threats and insults were unnecessary (by the EMT), and spraying me with a hose was unnecessary. Hate doesn’t even begin...

Had a 22 week ultrasound this morning and just a great experience and am glad I’ll be getting the rest of my ultrasounds from here on out here and also happy to be delivering my baby here! LOVE Rochelle, the receptionist and Dr. Chau! Both of them so friendly, bubbly, efficient and got me in and out! My baby seems very stubborn and likes to hide her face during ultrasounds, Dr. Chau was the only one who could get a pretty good picture of my baby’s face!
