Eddie was our wrangler and did an excellent job! His enthusiasm for what he does, knowledge of the area, and patience made the experience more fun for our family. We rode with Spirit, Little Black, and Nina... it was fun getting to know their personalities during our ride. We did the 2 hour ride in the morning and it was just starting to get hot as we got back. Definitely bring the recommended 2 bottles of water- they have something to hold them for you on the ride. In the summer, try to get an early start for the 2 hr ride (the earlier the better- we did 8am) or call and see if they have any evening rides as an option. We signed up online and only saw morning/day rides, but I thought I saw somewhere they might do evening rides. It was an unforgettable experience bonding with our horses, learning about the terrain, seeing the wildlife, getting up close with the famous cacti, and even seeing some history. Visiting from Canada! We had an incredible time at the ranch our tour guides were fantastic. They shared so much about the horses and their personalities, which really helped me, especially as a first time rider. It allowed me to connect with my horse, Jasper, and understand him better. He was so gentle and made me feel safe throughout the ride. Horseback riding has been a lifelong dream of mine, but I’ve always been afraid of falling or getting hurt. Thanks to Jasper, those fears melted away. I’m overwhelmed with happiness it was such an emotional and fulfilling experience. It also turned out to be incredibly therapeutic, helping me calm my mind and escape the constant stream of thoughts. I haven't felt this peaceful in years. Huge thanks to Kris and Andrea for making this such a memorable and welcoming experience. It was truly the highlight of my trip! Visiting out of town and really excited for a new experience to ride horses and booked online for same day. Our group ran 8 mins behind for an 8am 1 hour ride but would have arrived ON TIME to our reservation but called to make sure that it was fine as the website says to arrive 20 mins early so that is a mistake on our part. The inconvenience of this company told us that we had no reservation in the system even though I received a confirmation number with email from said company. Again the website clearly states that booking for NEXT DAY is NOT allowed after 5pm PST. Michelle on the phone argued that we made a mistake and couldn’t have booked that day but did not bother to listen that we had a confirmation until calling back to confirm. She also said the website does not allow for same day booking and that it’s a problem they are aware of. If aware, why not fix the known issue?
