I would absolutely not recommend Dr. Alkahmisi and disappointed in Honor Health. Alkahmisi is not really an Orthopedic doctor as I was told. He seemed to have less knowledge and training than a PA or NP. I expected more from Orthopedic doctor. I was referred to him for spinal injury and sprained ankle by my PCP. He didn't do any exam or analysis of injury. He looked at xrays and said he didn't deal with spines or ankles. He can't prescribe any medications. He basically talked to me and said he couldn't help, but the person in his office literally in the next room could. I asked for a consult or at least verbal collaboration. He said that is not possible. They will call me in a week or two to schedule with that doctor. This is not how medicine should be practiced. I am in extreme pain and needed help. This system is not about helping people. It is all about billing $$$. Very sad. I will be looking for Healthcare outside of Honor Health...

Everybody was so friendly, there was no waiting once I arrived. Everything was explained in detail so that I understood exactly was the problem was with my shoulder and the options for treatment. I was referred on Tuesday, had my appointment for that Thursday, first treatment on Friday. Can't say enough about Dr. Maskala and Dr. Alkhamisi and their assistants. Kevin is awesome.

A warm greeting as we can thru the doors set the tone. Very helpful and welcoming staff directed us to the right place for check in. Our assistant there was very helpful and welcoming. It wasn't long and we went back to the exam room. Dr. Maskala was fabulous! She listened, explained what was going on with my knee and we came up with a plan.
