Awesome little business! I stopped by this afternoon after reading the reviews online, and I was stunned by their prices. Almost everything they have is $7 a pound or less. This quaint, perfectly sized shop has plenty of parking for its size. The girls behind the counter were super friendly and down to earth, and they had everything I needed. Their prices were so unexpectedly low ($8/lb for tasso! I'm used to paying 3x that!) that I walked out with some extras, too.
If you're searching for a specialty meat/sausage product, this is the place to be! They even accept debit cards (no credit), though there's a $1 surcharge for orders under ten bucks. That said, this is the only meat/sausage/deli-type store I've ever been to where you might be able to walk out with what you need for less than ten bucks!
Phenomenal little place. I've included a picture of their product list, though their website should offer the most up-to-date...
Read moreThese are some of the nicest, most well-mannered people out there. We arrived just four minutes after closing to pick up some kielbasa for our family Easter dinner this weekend, and the gentleman told us not to worry. The lady at the door greeted us with a smile and held it open for us. Another kind woman took our order, and at no point did we feel rushed or as if they didn’t want our business.

I can’t express how refreshing it was to feel like we stepped back in time and experienced genuine service and hospitality. It’s rare these days, especially in the city.
I used to come here as a kid with my parents, and I’ll definitely be making it a point to come more often now. They also sell cheeses, bruschetta, and other great charcuterie board...
Read moreSchreiner's is so overrated. I don't know if people give raving reviews out of loyalty because they've been in Phoenix for so long or what it is. If you've ever been to Germany you will know Schreiner's products are extremely sub standard. As a matter of fact, you will have a better experience eating a run of the mill supermarket Johnsonville sausage. Schreiner's prices are outrageous, and the quality of their products cannot justify it. Some of the sausages have a strange spongyness to them. You can see in photos the weirdness. Also they are quite sloppy as they do not remove the strings from the sausages so if you don't notice that you will cook them like we did and figure it out once you start chewing on them. The idea of having a local place to get fresh made artisan sausages is awesome, unfortunately Schreiner's doesn't offer...
