When we met with Tyler from West Shore Home to discuss replacing two showers, he provided extensive data on their five-star ratings and customer satisfaction. The initial response time and promptness of the company were highly commendable. Tyler promptly visited our house for an assessment after I contacted them online, and we agreed to design our new showers when both my wife and I could be present. The project was swiftly scheduled, and installation took place only 15 days after our initial contact. Throughout the installation process, the crews, including Daniel, Barry, Manny, and JT, were welcoming and allowed me to observe and document the entire installation. The quality of the product surpassed our expectations, significantly improving upon the deteriorating showers we previously had. While our experience was mostly positive, there were some minor annoyances. For instance, we noticed lines drawn on the walls to mark the upper boundaries of the showers, which were still visible after the installation. Additionally, we occasionally encountered workers playing music with explicit lyrics during the installation; this was not to our liking. However, a few larger concerns require attention from the company. First, the billing provided only a bottom-line figure without any itemization. Although discounts were mentioned, we had to rely on their word without detailed breakdown. Second, we originally intended to replace one shower but decided to replace both simultaneously. Tyler, our design consultant, tried to save us money and recommended a 6-way magnetic handheld shower head for the first shower. We desired the same shower head for the second shower and inquired about it, but we were unable to ascertain the price and were directed to consider purchasing a shower head from Costco. Instead, we acquired a shower head from Lowe's. However, as per West Shore Home's policy, they could not officially install a shower head not purchased through them, due to warranty coverage. Despite this, the crew attempted to install the Lowe's shower head unofficially, but it failed the leak test. Subsequently, we returned the shower head to Lowe's and settled for the standard shower head, although we still wished to have the 6-way magnetic handheld shower head installed in the second shower. Another issue arose with their customer service for existing customers. We were provided with a dedicated phone number to bypass their regular phone system but ended up leaving messages and playing phone tag, experiencing considerably slower response times compared to new customers. This delay persisted when we requested a contract for the installation of the desired 6-way magnetic handheld shower head. Furthermore, the installation crew applied a roll-on anti-slip surface to the showers, but the strong fumes from it permeated our house. Despite opening windows, the fumes were so overpowering that we had to vacate our home for the evening; the strong fumes prevented us from sleeping at home. Finally, we were not adequately informed, if at all, about the 24-hour restriction on using our showers after installation, until the crews left. Though we interacted with several happy employees who emphasized the company's commitment to doing the right thing and not cutting corners, we felt that the company fell short in terms of post-installation customer service and transparency in billing. The lack of clarity and the additional charge of $407, after discounts, for installing the 6-way magnetic handheld shower head in the second shower, compounded by the difficulties we encountered, made us question whether the company had truly acted in our best interest. As a result, we gave a three-star rating. While we are satisfied with our new showers and appreciate the initial promptness and quality of work, improvements in post-installation support and billing transparency are necessary.

West Shore did not want to remove the sheetrock from the old shower for tub conversion. Installer told me "It is not in our scope of work." Now I have a second half wall installed on top of the original half wall from the tub shower combo, which was removed for the new shower. (Formerly a tub) Now this halfwall has old sheetrock between the outside wall framing and the West Shore top halfwall.(not framed straight or square at all on the inside part making it difficult to install a closet door.)Installers also said that it is not nessesary to waterproof behind the acrylic which is attached to very low grade plywood full of knots. For the amount of money paid for this install this is unacceptable. During the design appointment the rep told me that the installers will work with you. So NOT TRUE! I got so upset over the non removal of the old sheetrock i left the property. I am tired of salespeople telling me one thing and then the installers come and they tell me a totally different story. I would be very carefull about using this company. Update! Now I am noticing that the shower door that is on the same side as the West Shore built wall does not stay closed! This is also unacceptable. Cannot believe that i paid this kind of money for this company to slap some lipstick on a pig. Update! 1/15/2025 The latest commercial states that "No corners will be cut" I have to laugh at this. Again standing for my review hoping that if you are considering a bathroom upgrade please look elsewhere. Honestly not that impressed by my bathroom, and it certainly is not worth north of $20,000 dollars. 1/30/ 2025 I decided to show with pictures. Still no word from West Shore in any way. Cannot show the sheetrock behind the wall as i have finished the closet.

I had metal, French, front entry, double doors installed. I thought the cost was a little too much, but the big box stores are only $2-3,000 less. One positive is that you have accountability that doesn't exist when using your neighborhood Home Depot or Lowes and the price differential is worth that. My installation was delayed by 10 days, but that wasn't much of an inconvenience. The men who installed the doors arrived right on time. They had a 3 man crew, including Erickson, Jordan, and Kyler so the work took a shorter time than usual. They did a great job! They were fun and polite to work with, they paid close attention to every detail, they provided instructions for care and maintenance of the doors, showed me how all the parts work, made certain the keys worked in the new lock, they cleaned everything when they were done; covered everything. The doors themselves look great and seem to be great quality. They really add "pop" to my front entry. Two more minor features that I like is that they installed a wider frame at the top of the door inside. That eliminated the approximately 1" dust collecting area between the door frame and ceiling that you have in so many homes. The second is the threshold. It's much flatter than older models that guests can trip on, and gives that "finished" look. They also have financing available, which is a plus in today's economic situation. I would recommend this company and their staff. Shelica was my design/ sales rep who was quite helpful and pleasant to work with. Erickson, Jordan, and Kyler did great work. These men are "keepers".

I had the most pleasant experience with this company. Several months ago I’ve purchased three replacement doors for my home. The design consultant Shelica, mentioned one of the many reasons of working for this company was the owners interest in giving back to the Warriors, who served our country. I submitted a modest summary of my military experience with information on how my disabilities affected my daily activities. I hadn’t thought much about that submission until I received a call from Shelica that I had won a shower rehab install. West Shore Homes is based in the East Coast and had branched out to the Phoenix area about 2-3 years ago. I had just won the first West Shore Homes warrior program in Arizona. Such a thrill! The entire process was absolutely overwhelming and such a grateful gift to me. I was very much blessed to meet and be a part of this life-saving charitable event. I would like to thank everyone involved in any part of this wonderful gift to me. Those that I am aware of are Shelica and Tony Breeland, who pushed my submission to corporate office for approval, then the guys who worked so hard to provide such a beautiful shower for me to enjoy for years to come.… Casey, Fabian, Brandon,Shawn, Jiovanni, David, and Christian. Next to the public relations team from the corporate office who were ā€œsimply the bestā€œ at making me feel at ease with their interviewing skills. My life has taken several turns that were very much unexpected and it has taken several years to overcome. Kirsten, John and Nicole were so wonderfully calming for the nervous anticipation I felt of the filming and interviewing process. It felt like I was meeting new friends. So thank you to West Shore Homes for the life-changing gift and the experience of meeting. Some wonderful people in the process. The end product wowed me with how beautiful it turned out and the quality of workmanship. I can’t thank you enough.

I messed up on my original review so hopefully I can add it here…

I was very interested in replacing some worn out old exterior doors in my home and saw advertisement for West Shore Homes and thought I'd check them out! Shelica provided the initial consultation and she was amazing. Her customer service and professionalism was superior. Had some computer software issues but got fixed. I purchased/financed (special finance program) 3 doors which at first I thought were pretty expensive but the quality and overall rating of this company gave me a feeling of confidence. The installation crew were outstanding and did a professional job all the way through. Beginning with assuring the doors were correct to include the hardware. Inspecting the product, install, clean up, wrapping up the job and the kind mannerism was professional throughout the job. So a big thanks goes out to Daniel (pictured), Jordan, Zeke, Erickson, and Collin for job well done! I love the doors and how well they look....

We're 74 they came at 6pm left a little after 9 initially for a small shower remodel was quoted 25,000.00 for an acrylic shower. We stressed, as I has a stroke we needed a lower threshold, shower door and preferred installation in a day. As we discussed price, we we offered a reduced rate of 18,300. Stressing lower threshold, shower door and completed in one day . If we did not make a decision that even the price would return to 22, 500.00. Joe and Tony stepped outside at about 8:45 pm .( we awake 4:00 am). Exhausted my wife signed a docusign contract, we did not receive a contract copy! When workers completed acrylic installation the re was No shower door and construction dust in the bathroom grout lines and adjacent bedroom furniture. Base on all the factors I would Not recommend this company. I feel it borderline BIG SCAM. We're 74 this is Al's like elder abuse.

Second phone call today 5 days after first with customer service rep Ashley who tried to genuinely help we once again discussed our dissatifaction with this project we paid $18,300.00 especially we received no contract to review, asking for a LOW threshold and a sower door haunderstanding Joe and Tony Sales people will collaborate the recall ( BS )

Once again if you choose to feel ripped off Call west shore. James Detrick San Tan Valley

How does this business show a $6,000-$8,000 cost for a shower redo on their web site and start a bid for $25, OOO.OO. what kind of sales tactics do their sales people Tony and Joe ascribe too; RIP OFF protocols. They should be Ashamed. I will pursue this further!! THE OWNER OF THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE HELDACCOUNTABLE From their website: For west coast shore Website Cost breakdown by project type Basic or budget-friendly shower redo For around $3,000 to $8,000, you can complete a basic shower remodel. This would likely include a prefabricated stall or tub/shower combo with essential fixtures, often without custom tile work or extensive plumbing changes. A tub-to-shower conversion using a prefabricated unit can start around...
