My husband needed a new transmission on his Ford Excursion, I had heard good things about Benchmark as none of the transmission shops in Cheyenne WY have a good reputation so we gave Benchmark a call. They scheduled us to drop off the truck two weeks out from when we originally called. We dropped off the truck on Monday and by Friday they were done. That was about a year and a half ago. Recently the reverse gear was not working properly so that we could not reverse up an incline. We called Benchmark to check if the transmission was still under warranty which it was. They listened to the issue and asked us to drop the truck off at our convenience so that they could take a look. We dropped it off at 8 am Monday and by 3:30 pm they had found the issue, corrected it, and called us to pick up the truck with no charge to us. My grandfather was a professional mechanic for over 50 years, and I adored him and have very sentimental memories of working together on cars. Needless to say, I thoroughly appreciate a great mechanic and someone who is passionate and meticulous about their work.

I received all of the above and more when Benchmark Transmission rebuilt the transmission on my 1990 Ford Econoline Van. Even the price of the repair came in well below what I expected. As long as these guys remain in business, I will never again worry about having a transmission replaced.
