Smoky Mountain Golden Cabins — Local services in Pigeon Forge

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Golden Oaks. We’ve been coming to the area for vacation for the last 10 years and this was by far the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. I really don’t need to look anywhere else. This place really checks ALL the boxes for me. The cabin was clean, nicely furnished, had comfortable beds, good water pressure and was well maintained. We have dogs and finding a fenced yard is challenging enough but finding an enclosed, level yard is near impossible. Our non athletic dogs thank you! My girl had to go out early one morning and as I stood outside on the deck waiting for her, I heard twigs snapping in the woods. I shined my flashlight and there was a bear lumbering along down on the other side of the creek. Pretty cool! Never had anything like that before.

I loved how you felt far away from everything yet weren’t really far at all. We enjoy going to Cade’s Cove so it’s nice to be so close to the park entrance at metcalf bottoms picnic area. We discovered Mountain Brothers general store and I think going there to pick out coffee beans to grind and brew will be a new tradition. We bought 3 lbs of 3 different flavors.

Heaven's View truly has a view of heaven. My brothers and I reserved the cabin to celebrate our Mother's 90th birthday. The cabin is very pretty. It is clean and comfortable and well maintained. The main deck is quite roomy and has an unobstructed view of beautiful mountains and sky. At night we could see millions of stars and a very bright half moon. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are quite soft. It is well equipped. The cabin also has a nice hot tub and a pool table. The cabin is perfectly located. It is very convenient to all the excitement in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and just a hop-skip to Cades Cove. In addition, a very well stocked grocery store with a helpful staff is about five minutes away. We had a great time enjoying Mother's birthday, each others' company and the scenery. The cabin is so comfortable that we hardly left it, but we did manage to drive to Cades Cove to see a few deer and a yearling bear. Donn and Margaret are very easy to work with and respond quickly to questions or problems. What a wonderful place to enjoy the beautiful...

Views, views and more views

I consider myself a connoisseur of rental properties in the Smoky Moutains having rented many over the years. Donn and Margaret always answered questions in a quick and timely manner which is very important when trying to accomadate a large group. First and foremost, Golden View Lodge was immaculate, which literally is the first thing I look at when walking into a chalet. The kitchen was well-stocked, we never reached for something that we did not find. The grill was in great shape and in working order. We did not use the Hot Tub, only because it was in the high 90's when we were there, and not cooling down much in the evening. Golden View Lodge is surrounded in decks with plenty of chairs to admire the incredible views! There is also a surprised bonus of an unique firepit that also has plenty of chairs. Importantly, the drive and driveway are easy to navigate with plenty of level parking. Definitely would rent from Donn and Margaret in the future, and give Golden View...
