Definitely a hidden gem for sure! My bf and I are visiting TN for the first time and while heading to some waterfalls we discovered this little food truck which happened to catch our eye as we love Mexican food. We decided to stop and give them a try. We got some tacos in beef and carnitas. We were so blown away by how good they were we stopped back a couple hours later to get food again for dinner! The tacos are amazing, we tried all the meats, but my favorite was the carnitas for sure, and we also got the chicken nachos Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned so well. This is hands down the best tacos and Mexican cuisine, and may be the best food overall in the entire area (including Wears Valley, PF, Townsend, and Gatlinburg). We absolutely love Wears Valley and finally made time to stop here. It was so good we went back the next day. The prices are premium, but what food in the area isn’t? We had tacos (Al pastor, carnita, and carne asada) and burritos (Al pastor and carne asada) and they were all phenomenal. The green salsa is great and is a nice option for those who done like heat. Not impressed. Very salty and greasy. $13 for a half of a quesadilla and all it was was a greasy mess of cheese and ground beef in a folded over tortilla. No sour cream, no pico or vegetables. Just something I could make in my kitchen for $3. I had ordered a chicken quesadilla, but I guess the girl at the window was too preoccupied with her nails or something and I received a ground beef quesadilla. I just ate what I could of it before throwing the rest away as it took about 10 minutes for our order and I did not want to wait any longer.
