My husband and I have now visited this church twice while on vacation to TN. Both times, we have gotten a good, Biblically-based message that combines truth and love in a thoughtful way. It is very similar to many of the Calvary Chapels we have been to in setup, values, and procedures. Some family who are considering moving out here came on the most recent trip, and Pastor Lance had a great message that really showed the beliefs of the church and helped us to feel like this was a good fit. My husband and I were looking for a local church that taught the Word of God simply, honestly and understandably. This is it. Pastor Lance teaches through the whole Bible - not just parts of it - and explains, through the Holy Scriptures, how it applies to our lives today. We came, we listened and we stayed. Calvary has always been an amazing church to go to. Calvary goes through the entire bible line by line and verse by verse which is important in your walk with the Lord. Everyone on staff is very nice and loving. In depth studies of the word on sundays really break down each verse to show the significance of them and how we can apply them to our lives. On wednesdays Calvary moves at a little faster pace with the goal of getting through the entire Bible. Calvary has a very unique and loveable balance between the two nights of service.
