I recently have been searching for other grocery stores in search of better pricing, higher variety foods, and good clean staff, but while visiting zingos I got none of that. The first thing I noticed about the store is the parking lot. During the busy times of the day you will be lucky not getting into an accident in this area. However, the store has a nice even layout that makes it easy to find what you are looking for. While breezing through the isles doing my weekly shopping I couldn't help but hear the staff cursing several times within all the departments. I do not need to hear all of this slandering coming from the workers, but if I needed help finding an item they were all helpful. However, my words experience was while making my way to the soup near the deli/bakery area I was alarmed to see a mouse disappear behind the trash can. Seeing the sight of a mouse rush through encouraged me to put all the food and in my cart away and never shop...
Read moreI have shopped this story many times without issue. The prices are great and the store is small so you can get it all done in less that 30 minutes.
Today, Sunday, May 21, 2017.. I did not have my debit card with me and had to use my checkbook. The very rude little man manager had me go to customer service and register for a card that would grant me check writing privileges. I don't have a problem with this process, I do, however, do not appreciate the glaring from the manager and the very loud "It's too late now" followed by a scowl. I offered to get my debit card and come back, since this was obviously problematic for this mean little man. He wouldn't even acknowledge me.
I do not feel it is appropriate for the staff to assume that my intentions were less than honorable. I am a professional, successful working woman and do not appreciate the 10 minutes of pure humiliation. They need to get the manager some communication training or hire...
Read moreI recently ordered a curbside takeaway from Zingo’s. The produce that was selected for my order was old and not edible. Romaine lettuce had a use by date that was over a week old. Corn on the cob was withered and smelled badly. I contacted the manager and he blamed the problem on the girl who did the shopping. I believe the outdated and inedible food was specifically targeted for curbside delivery. The manager attempted to divert attention from what the store policy would appear to be. Why were these items selected? Not by chance but by design. Would the store have old Romaine lettuce, a week past it’s use by date on the shelves as well as old stinky corn on the cob? If so then this is no place for people to shop and if I am correct they have little or no regard for their customers. The manager has disguised his intention of selling outdated produce which would otherwise be unsaleable by offering...
