Planet Fitness — Local services in Pine Bluff

There are many reasons for this negative review. Planet Fitness in Pine Bluff Arkansas needs corporate to step in and thoroughly review their customer service as well as their tactics when it comes to their contracts

The manager stated that member should thoroughly read their contracts before joining Planet Fitness.

I suggest you seek a second option when it comes to finding a membership base gym to join. I truly suggest you look outside the Planet Fitness brand.

Please note hundreds of consumer complaints concerning overbilling, fraudulent transactions, excessive fees, and uncancellable memberships are common complaints.

The complaints allege a pattern of misconduct including 1) customers sending multiple cancellation letters that are ignored, 2) cancellation attempts in person that are ignored 3) billing being resumed post-cancelation 4) spurious fees, and 5) Planet Fitness preventing customers from canceling because they owe a back balance, among many other complaints.

Please be warned about their agreements. I asked that you thoroughly look into it before you join Planet Fitness in Pine...

In January, I paid my membership in full but decided to cancel after I got hurt in the gym after hitting an exposed screw on a machine. After a staff member said he would put a sign on the machine and didn't, I decided to switch gyms. I still have a scar on my leg from the accident.

Per the contract, I should have received a refund for the unused portion of the year. However, the national office has not responded to emails, and their phone recordings directs customers back to the local branch. The local branch's Manager has stated they cannot process the refund. And, unfortunately, my bank will not investigate the charge due to the date of the transaction.

I recently had my wallet fall out my pocket while on a ab machine in there this past Thursday. I didn't realize it until the next night and backtracked to realize it might've fell out in gym. I call and they say they have it. I was very thankful until the next day when I opened my wallet to see 60 dollars taken out and the 4 dollars and five dollar bill left in. I was literally the last person to leave that night and only the staff one female in particular had my wallet. When I went to inquire of my missing money I was told lies as if a fellow member Had picked up my money. Knowing full well only ones had my wallet was the staff. So theirs sticky fingers employed there and they lie for whoever stole my money. Very disappointing but obviously I have to take that loss. But I won't be loosing my wallet again lesson...
