Where to begin with our story?. I think I'll start with Tuesday afternoon. I just left Fratesi's after having my hair cut for our wedding set for Thursday. I knew time was getting short and I haven't yet picked our rings. I decided to go to Sissy's Log Cabin in Pine Bluff to "look around". When entering, I was greeted by everyone there including Sissy Jones herself! (She's Very nice btw.) So I explained that I'm looking for a wedding set and that Thursday was the big day. I wasn't sure if this was possible but I was assured they were up to the task. Arlene showed me some rings. I told her what my budget was. This is when I met who I consider to be one of their greatest assets. Mr. Jaylen Jackson. He brings out a loose diamond and asks my if I'd ever seen a "Facets of Fire" diamond. We'll, no. To this point I had no idea what that was, but when he showed me, I quickly realized I was going to spend more than I had originally planned. The 1/2 carat princess cut was so beautiful and full of firework explosions!! I started getting nervous and all shakey and knew she was going to absolutely love this pretty rock. Moving to the band section, I noticed one that I really liked. Small like her fingers with a personality that matches her own, I knew this was the one! Then I seen the one I would wear myself. Matching hers as if her ring came from mine. I knew these would forever rest on our fingers. Just one more ring to pick, and this one had to be perfect. The Engagement Ring! The ring that would hold the diamond. After explaining to Jaylen what I was interested in, he then comes from the back with a ring that near perfectly matched my description. He says they will remove the mount and replace it with another that he thinks we'll be happier with. The next day I come in and he shows me the mount that's not yet on her ring, and I'm thinking about how this set is completely designed and built custom for us. Later that day I get a call from Jaylen. He says the original diamond had chipped as the jeweler was setting the stone. My heart sank!! He assured me that they would make it right but honestly, I couldn't understand how. You see, this diamond was so beautiful and firey, how could they get another just like it?! And in the timeframe? I went and talked to him and wanted to see the chip for myself. It was so tiny, most people probably would never notice. Jaylen integrity wouldn't let it pass. He had 2 diamonds sent in from another store and invited me to look at them. I'll will say, the new one I choose was even more beautiful than the original! He made it right! Thursday at 6:00pm is when me and my fiancé are to be joined before God in marriage. As we're getting the final details in order. At 4:04pm, I get the call that the rings are ready. (exactly when he said Tuesday!) We head over to Sissy's and the rings are completely beautiful and perfect! The experience of building this set and working with the team was extremely pleasant and personal. They met every expectation and promise made! Our wedding was beautiful and Sissy's Log Cabin was a huge part of it! Thank you for your awesomeness!!

Read moreI have made several large purchases from Sissy's in the last year and a half. They sell beautiful jewerly but the service is terrible. I had a diamond band made to match one they had in the store. Because it's a custom piece I paid half up front. When I finally got the ring it wasn't even sized to my finger. Now that's the short story. There is alot more to this story that I will not go into. Right now I am waiting on a customized alterations to a ring I purchased from there last year. I paid my half of the coat deposit and was told it would take 2 weeks. That was over 2 months ago. I called last week to get an update and was told they the diamonds had been on back order of which no one ever let me know. But the diamonds were finally in last week but my ring is still no ready because I spend 30 minutes in person at Sissy's in Pine Bluff today trying to just get my ring and money back. Last week I was promised a return phone call telling me when my ring would be ready. I also requested a refund last week but didn't get that. I have been told it MAY be ready the end of this week. Now I know he has not been working on my ring since last Tuesday when I called. I cannot recommend their services to anyone. I do not want you to have to go thru what I have been thru. If you buy something that is ready to wear that's find but when it comes to sizing or custom work getting ready to spend your money and wait, and...
Read moreI am not familiar with any of Sissy's locations except the Pine Bluff store, but I can say that it is a great place to do business. They have a huge selection of jewelry inventory to choose from. I live in El Dorado and think it is well worth the hour and a half trip there to do my jewelry shopping. Sissy's is always very accommodating when it comes to sizing rings, cleaning jewelry, checking mountings, and making repairs. Often, they can do these things while I am in the store, saving me a return trip to Pine Bluff. Further, they have an interesting assortment of gift items, decorator items, housewares, and purses in that section of their store.
I have made several jewelry purchases and have been happy with every one of them. One diamond ring we purchased lost a stone and Sissy's replaced the diamond free of charge. The jewelers they have on staff are extremely competent and do excellent work.
Their staff is friendly and eager to help you find what you are looking for, and once they get to know your tastes, they will text or e-mail you info on things they think you'll like. All their sales people are very knowledgeable and professional, but I have to admit that Dana Wyatt is my very favorite!
Don’t be afraid to use Sissy’s---whether you are buying a simple gift or making a major purchase---you won't be...
