11/21/2023: Another edit with prompt from Google Maps. Fiber optics was connected this year and connection so much better. Thank you Bevcomm for the improvement! Every time Ive called with a connection concern or the technicians came to the house within reasonable timeframe, quickly troubleshoot, & resolve whatever was wrong. Happy to select more stars. Not happy with their monopoly. I have opportunity to work from home, have all equipment at my home to do this. Employer requires minimum upload speed of 10+ megabytes. BevComm does not provide this service in area I live in as it requires fiber optics. With their monopoly, I cant get service from provider who does. Still requires fiber optics. Also, we are paying for an internet speed level and do not achieve this speed. Have to attribute this to their router. Will try our own router. Editing: Seven months has passed since my post above. I had a dedicated internet line installed for work equipment. When BevComm techs were here for installation, I stressed the importance for reliability and employer's requirements. Techs also addressed these concerns with external settings. I believe they made adjustments at their installation next to the road. Not sure what this entailed. We have problems with BEVCOMM since they day we moved in. We had to call multiple times a week for the first 6 months to get our TV's to stream even though we pay for the second highest package at almost 75 dollars a month. They continued to keep putting people on the same channel as us as someone else stated in a review. I will say the technicians we're very fast to answering service calls and friendly. I then called to have our service moved the week of (my bad, we were told the new area was under a different provider) they told us they couldn't get a technician to come move our equipment for NINE days originally but could may schedule us 3 days BEFORE we moved I said great, I have a few things to do but please schedule me for either appointment just in case someone calls after me. I returned their call and now it'll be ELEVEN days until someone can move us and the original appointment they told me was gone. To say I'm frustrated is an understatement. ATTENTION EVERYONE!! THIS IS A PSA! My family and I have been with Bevcomm for many years now, and we have always had problems getting good speeds with our Wi-Fi service. We were paying $79.95, plus a $2.95 fee for using their included router, for the advertised 25 Mbps download speed, when in reality we were only getting 6-7 Mbps download speed if we were lucky. But I made a discovery last week that made my life a whole lot better! Purchase your own router and hook it up to the modem that Bevcomm provides! I purchased a 17 dollar router on Amazon and hooked it up and in literally minutes my Wi-Fi speed quintupled!! I couldn't even believe my eyes! If you use the Router-Modem combo that Bevcomm provides, you WILL NOT get the advertised speed of your Wi-Fi. But if you purchase your own router and just use Bevcomm's modem, you will get the proper speed that you are paying for! Please don't wait to purchase your...
