I have found that living at Harbour Cay apartments is much more than I ever expected in the way of service, friendliness and professionalism. Every single time I have had an issue the management team has smiled and addressed it promptly. They have a wonderful app that allows me to remotely request anything that I may need and it keeps me updated. The valet trash is a real help for the days I don't feel like walking all the way to the dumpster. The people are so friendly that it doesn't seem like any other place that I have ever lived at. It's usually smiles when you rent and sign your lease and frowns when there are issues or problems. But that's not so here.
Additionally the entire property is kept up with beautiful plants and foliage and a wonderful lake where we go to feed the turtles and the ducks a little bit of bread at sunset. Oddly enough, we have two otters that visit us from time to time throughout the year and so that makes a tremendous difference in us wanting to walk around the property and view the wildlife. The dog park makes a tremendous difference for us and the fact that they are dog friendly. They're even biscuits at the office for my doggy. I love the dog park and the fact that I can take my dog to run with other dogs and have play dates. So not only is the place beautiful but the people are as well. You could have the most beautiful place in the world and if you didn't have the type of management that made you feel warm welcome and cared for it would change your feeling about the place. But I can say I'm truly happy! I would recommend this complex here at Harbour Cay to any one looking to rent a regular or smart apartment because they really stay on top of the maintenance issues. And I am confident that any issue I have will be addressed immediately. That's what matters to me because signing the lease and smiles is one thing....but living day to day and overcoming day to day issues is completely...
Read moreI can’t wait till this lease is over, $1945 for rent and when I first walked in on move day it smelt like people have been smoking since the 80s. The dishwasher is held on with 2 drywall screws that they probably found on the ground. They say this dishwasher is brand new but has no back wheels and food from the last tenant still in it with tons of mineral buildup. Some of the outlets straight up just don’t work. Doors have been painted over so many times they don’t even close which I expect the landlord special but come on, 20 layers of paint may be 1 to many. Then god forbid I try to pay rent on time, when I went to pay the money. It went in and out of my bank for multiple days causing me to submit it again which now I’m being punished with using my debit card with a $60 convenience fee and a $90 check bounce fee. So I went to the office to explain what had happened and they said call us next month since you already paid and it can’t be fixed right now. So I call today and now they say I have to wait a total of 3 months before I can have the ultimate privilege of paying rent that won’t go to the apartments for sure. I work in construction and speak Spanish even though I look white and the maintenance guys may barely know how to use a drill. I usually end up fixing what they do anyways. I would say if you have $1945 to spend on rent move to the outskirts of Tampa, pinellas isn’t what it used to be. Read moreCurrently a resident and have had squirrels in my attic for the past 3 months now I informed the staff about this problem in October and was told they would take care of it but they didn't know who to call. . .. And nothing was done about it until yesterday. After speaking with the office for the third time they used all animal repellent in the unit knowing I have a service dog and a normal dog inside while they sprayed. They are using a raccoon trap instead of a squirrel trap. Not once called a exterminator to come look at the situation. Seems like they go about fixing problems the cheap way instead of the correct way. When you walk into the office to tell them about the problems you have in the apartment you pay for. They treat you as if you are bothering them. After they sprayed the all animal repellent they left the entire bottle In front of my unit and never came back for it. Both dogs walked past and were sneezing the whole time. So I had to go out of my way to bring them they're repellent back and when I asked if it was safe for dogs they talked to me as if I was stupid. Seems if you have a problem they really don't want to do anything about it. was promised today someone would come and remove the trap out of my attic and no one has came. It blows my mind that we pay as much as we do and get treated like we are bothering the staff here. Very disappointed in this complex 1st time apartment living and this is such a bad experience I haven't even live here...
