I went to this dollar store location for the first time the Saturday of my daughter's homecoming dance, I was sick at the time with the walking pneumonia (which I didn't realize at that time) but I felt awful. While shopping, I take my tablet in the store to help with coupons and such, after I checked out I was gathering my kids and groceries into the vehicle and I didn't realize but left my tablet in the cart. My child pushed the cart close to the building and we got into the car without noticing. I made it home before I realized. When I located the tablet in my phone it took me to the store but they were closed, so I waited until morning. We returned to the store only to be greeted by rude employees who told us they haven't seen it, nor were they responsible for the tablet. They told us they don't have cameras, we don't have access to their cameras, and the lady who was working the night before let me know the tablet was off before she asked me for the IMEI number to my tablet. My tablet was not off so I'm not sure how she'd know that unless she knew where it was.. she seems suspicious, I am now having to get the law involved as I was told this woman has taken other's phones, purses, as well as other objects.. I would not recommend this store to anyone who is attached to their personal belongings! I had pictures of my kids, newborn infant, pets and my brother who has passed away on that tablet that I don't have any other place. I'm devastated! I hope the law can locate my tablet and the...
Read moreUsually, I have no issues at this location. The employees have always been friendly and often I find exactly what I need. However, today was an exception to the excellent service I have received in the past. I have a registered and tagged PSD. When my service animal and I entered the store the main cashier raised their voice to me from across their register, in front of patrons, that no dogs were allowed. I understand that often people do not see his identification so I politely explain he was a service animal who was properly tagged. She did not care to hear me out as she continued her uncouth behavior. This response to a service animal and handler was uncalled for and degrading. When I tried to explain again for a second time, she continued the same behavior and was even yelling as I exited the store. While I understand that stores have rights and regulations they do not have the right to degrade an individual with a disability who has a service animal. This situation could have been handled with more...
Read moreMy girlfriend has a psychological service dog. If it is company policy that she can't be a patron of you store, that is one thing. What I want to address is the lack of respect for others. This is a 4 star because the store is fine. She has shopped there in the past and has good things to say. This is a targeted response to an individual employee. It is Monday September 2nd, 3ish. The blonde working should know she is lucky to have a job, with her attitude. Screaming at someone that they are not welcome in front of other patrons. That is just mean and she should be ashamed. So... in conclusion she went to Ball, LA. Dollar General, right down the road and they were accommodating and kind. Maybe you as a company should more closely consider who...
