For such a tiny store, they carry a LOT! We were headed to the big grocery store with a list of things we needed and decided to quickly stop here as we were passing to look for some fresh local honey. They definitely carried it. First thing we saw on the table displayed as we walked in. A huge jar for $42 with the honeycomb in it! Along with several other sizes and flavors. Well, we didn’t end up needed to go to the grocery store, we found everything we needed! Mayo, mustard, chips, salsa, sour cream, beans, coffee, bananas, milk, eggs, and butter! We even bought some homemade goats milk bar soaps and lotions, and a box of pretty unique crayons. 🤗 (they have souvenirs too!) The guy was super friendly, and we even popped into the antique wood store part after and loved lots of things in there as well. Read moreNeat little store! We were on our way to a grocery store farther in town and decided to stop here instead since they were still open. They have cute souvenirs and local honeys and jams. They also had a decent selection to make dinner. What really sets them apart though is that they’re clearly family owned. The family was literally hanging out when we arrived and we’re super sweet and welcoming. Sometimes small stores give you the feeling that you’re being watched but they gave us our space to shop and checked on us as needed and we’re genuinely just friendly people. I said I was was hoping to do some fishing and he gave me directions and spots to do so. I stopped in numerous times after that for anything I might need, even borrowed some basic tools that I didn't have with me and just shot the breeze.
