The Venue at Greenbrier Estate — Attraction in Pittman Center

We had our wedding here a few weeks ago in April and it was beautiful! Melanie was great to work with especially since it was a destination wedding. She always had an answer and made our wedding decoration dreams come true. The only thing we didn’t 100% love was how we were unaware of the things the DJ did without asking us if we were okay with it. We never discussed wanting to do a bridal party dance because they’re awkward and wanted our first dance to be just us but he called the whole bridal party to the floor. And he had people join in less than 45 seconds into every special dance for the parents. We just wanted that to be special for those individuals during that time. We had the venue from 9:30am-9:30pm. Clean up was supposed to start at 8:30pm, the staff started cleaning up at 7:30pm because everyone was outside enjoying the weather and scenery. They were moving drinks and phones off of tables. When I asked them why they started to clean up an hour early they replied it was because they had another wedding in the morning. I understand time management but if I paid 12 hours I expect to be able to use that space for the 12 hours. It’s not my issue to worry about another event while mine is going on. It isn’t just the amazing views that make this venue so special, it is the people who work there. When my husband and I decided to book this venue, we didn’t realize that we would also receive Sherri’s event coordination, but we are so grateful that we had her assistance as the wedding wouldn’t have been as beautiful or as smooth without her. Words can’t describe how thankful we are for the help that Sherri and her team provided us. Sherri was so patient and responsive throughout the entire planning process. She helped book our linens, directed our ceremony, and she spent several days setting up our tables and putting out decorations and china. Her crew spent the night of the wedding rinsing the china and carefully wrapping each china piece for storage. My husband and I didn’t have to worry about anything that night. This venue is beyond incredible! It has gorgeous views from every angle, 3 rooms for the wedding party to get ready, and multiple bathrooms (which is nice if you are having a larger event). What really sets this venue apart from others though is Sherri and her staff. The minute you meet Sherri, you know that you can trust her and that she will make your event exactly how you want it. As she says from the beginning, her goal is to make sure the bride is happy and she goes above and beyond to make sure that is the case! I can truly say that my day was stress free and everything ran so smoothly, which had a lot to do with them. Sherri and her staff set up and broke down all the decorations, helped coordinate, and kept close contact with all vendors, just to name a few.
