Woogity Wood Works — Local services in Pittman Center

My little family had our first family vacation near Gatlinburg and I typically try to find my daughter “treasures” in the form of hearts, birds, or butterflies (her new love). I figured with all the wood art I saw, it would be fairly easy to find a carved butterfly. I went to so many different places with no luck. I searched on the web and I saw Woogity Wood Works, which indicated that they take requests year round, and headed their way. I saw a young lady working on a piece of wood art with her chainsaw as soon as I arrived. She politely stopped what she was doing so she could assist me with a smile on her face. Extremely friendly! I asked if she was able to carve a butterfly for my daughter. She said that she would love to take my request, however they were months out with other requests and it may take close to 4 months to complete. Completely understandable! She handed me her card as well as one for her partner to be in touch with. She then showed me other finished pieces that I might like. I spotted a rose and fell in love and it was perfect because my daughter’s middle name is Rose. She offered it to me at a recently reduced price and it was extremely reasonable. I was so happy I found this place, not to mention Charlie as she was extremely friendly and helpful!!! My daughter LOVED her rose and I will be in touch for a custom carved butterfly for her...

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Charlie “The Chainsaw Bunny” Friday, August 8th. She’s so precious and sweet. But whatever you do, DO NOT cross her or make her mad. You do not want to see that…LOL. Just Kidding. Charlie is an amazing chainsaw carver and Michael’s carvings are awesome too. I bought 3 carvings of Charlie’s. Here are two of the carvings that I bought. One is an Easter Egg and the other one isn’t…lol. It’s a Strawberry. My 3rd carving that I bought, Charlie is carving me a Kenny McCormick from the TV show South Park. It’ll be fantastic when she’s done carving it. I Loved meeting you Charlie, and talking and joking around and having fun with you for a few minutes. You really are precious and sweet.
