It was great when the Chuongâs owned it, but itâs horrible now. Half the store is alcohol instead of stuff that people in this neighborhood might actually need (like grocery items), they often have expired merchandise on the shelves, they are EXTREMELY overpriced, checking out is always a nightmare, and worst of all: they got their EBT taken away when they decided to sell alcohol under it instead of just food like theyâre supposed to. Who does that in a low income neighborhood? The last time I went in there, the employee didnât even know how to read my ID (and it was even a PA ID).
