Dollar General — Local services in Pittsfield

Due to the pandemic it is almost impossible to have a positive shopping experience right now. I personally was very thankful that this place was one of very few to have an open restroom for its shoppers and it was clean. Lately, if I find myself in need of a restroom I have to discontinue my shopping and head home just to use a bathroom which is sometimes very inconvenient. My only complaint about my in store experience today herewas that there was only one register open with a long line and the only cashier at this register was training another employee so each customer had a longer than average wait without the option of moving forward to another open register if the trainee needed extra instruction during her learning the pos system. Overall the store is well stocked but there was a lot of merchandise out on the floor still in boxes that I had to push out of my way to get to the desired shelf to pick out what item I wanted to purchase, one of my...

Despite frequent visits to this store due to its proximity to my girl's workplace, I have encountered numerous inconveniences. The Stromboli, a favorite for many, has been unavailable for purchase for three consecutive months. Similarly, my beloved candy licorice from Australia has been out of stock for over a month, and the absence of Code Red soda has been frustrating, with a wait time extending beyond a month. This Dollar General needs allot of attention . Isle’s are not organized, floor’s doesn’t look mopped in any time recent , and few of the staff smelled like narcotics.
