Temescal Wellness — Local services in Pittsfield

I am going to have to go ahead agree with the other recent reviews of this place, and insist that you go to other places that are close aka Bloom Brothers! I had been going there for about a year and they were always pretty short with me and sometimes rude but I let it go because I thought it was my only option for a dispensary in the area; well this last time I attempted to pick up an order from was the last straw and I was prepared to have to drive 3 hours, one way, to Rhode Island because I never wanted to give them any business ever again and usually spend between $150-$200 on product when I would order from there, luckily I found out about Bloom Brothers and my first experience there was 10x better than anything I had ever experienced at Temescal Wellness. I had a similar experience with the older female manager as another person on here; I was told when I got there that I couldn't get my order because apparently her entire staff takes a lunch break at the same time(which in of itself doesn't make any sense) so they close down for 30 minutes and told me if I still wanted my order I would have to just wait around until they reopened, at which point I decided I didn't want my order anymore and left. Their customer service has always been pretty mediocre at best, but it has gotten exceptionally worse since they reopened from Covid-19. I would definitely recommend going someplace else. *as a side note, I found the Menu/selection of product at Bloom Brothers to be much more vast than what Temescal Wellness has ever...

Pros..no wait time, sometimes there is a great strain available, lots of choices when it comes to concentrates. Smells great inside. Cons..the customer service is hit or miss. Very young and inexperienced sales people at the counter. Sometimes they contradict eachother with product knowledge. I am sorry to saynthe skinny lady with the horn rimmed glasses is one of the more unfriendly people in the building. Seems miserable..the irony is that this is a female led business which is cool but the guys that work there are actually more welcoming and friendly and knowledgeable. The biggest knock is the poor potency and lack of proper curing in the bud category. Its just not very strong stuff, usually. And its baffling because the buds look and smell like top.shelf but the.potency is.poor. For example I drove an hour to get some flower last week, tried it, and promptly gave it away to a friend. I have only gone to Temescal for any greenery needs and has never been disappointing. The employees are always in a good mood and they are great at making it more than just a transaction. They know what they’re talking about, they know the product, and they must have a great training system. Today I met a new face, Mahalia, whose patience I cannot be more thankful for today. I didn’t properly complete my online reservation/order and she walked me through my entire order which I totally changed. She was so pleasant and knowledgeable. I see more and more value in Temescal with every visit.

Also! Shout out to Kadeem. He’s so knowledgeable about ALL the products. He’s the main clerk I end getting everytime I come. He’s so genuinely interactive and has a great way with describing the details of any product I ask about. Telling me answers I didn’t even know I’d need! Great teamwork all the time.
