Labs like PPPL are doing not only tests and experiments as in the mind of "Jude", but more importantly they are doing theoretical research on the fundamental properties and mechanisms of plasma and other physical systems. We were able to walk through each part of the lab and see what they were like and even interact a little with each area. The campus as a whole was so nice and updated as well as clean. Everything was well organized and our tour guide was very nice and informative. He took the time to answer all of our questions which was really cool.
