I had a unit there and I started out paying 116.00 and as the months went by the rent kept going up and up it got to where it 284.00 month and I asked can they help me because I can't pay that much and they got it down to 240 something. Then this year when ALL those cars got moved away from my building the rats came in. Boy when we went to my unit 1 day all you smelled was rats. Well needless to say all my beds,clothes, dressers,shoes, paperwork, couches,my Christmas stuff and a whole lot of other stuff was destroyed. I made a claim and the insurance you pay for is all you get and they don't pay you no more than that. I had more destroyed stuff than I got back in claim money. So make sure you pick the right insurance that is going to cover the losses that will occur or get some other insurance that will protect you when something like this happens. I was with this storage company before it became ExtraSpace. Ever since they switched over to ExtraSpace, they have approved immensely. The customer portal is so much easier to process payments, customer service, and staff are so much nicer to communicate with. The manager at my location, Kristy, has made such a difference. She is always so nice, kind, and helpful with any questions or issues that I may have regarding my unit. Also, the property and office are always so clean. It is very comforting knowing my Mom who passed away her keepsakes are taken care of and very safely secured. But what really made me do the review was the recent 2 hurricanes that hit Florida and caused so much damage to residents and companies. Kristy went to the storage property as soon as she was permitted to check for any damage. Thank God there wasn't any damage, and she reassured me that my storage was safe from any damage. So...

I just got storage unit on yesterday went to place a dresser in my unit could not get to my unit trailer and another car blocked me from getting into my unit i asked the lady was outside in front of my unit making for dale signs if she could get over she told me to go arou d the other way to try to get close to my unit.
