EDIT: Over two years after I wrote my review, Moti/Mordechai the owner is STILL trying to call me a scammer! LOL... I most certainly did meet him, he was super shady with me, and no I will not be calling him at his number below.
I loved the furniture on display and spoke with the owner Mordechai (Moti) on 6761 W Sunrise Blvd. He was very helpful at first and was willing to show me catalogues and answer all of my questions. I was pretty much sold at that point and ready to make a purchase and schedule a delivery. I just needed my specific questions answered.
It went downhill when I asked about financing, After asking him for financing options, he didn't want to show me more catalogues. He had offered financing on his website for his 27th anniversary sale, 0% down for 60 months, as well as on his brochure that I have, and there was a sign in his store discussing a payment plan of ninety days with zero down, and that was a huge selling point for me, one of the reasons I drove down to his store. He basically told me to put my purchase on my credit card, that the financing company doesn't give him all of his money, and I could see he had lost interest in helping me further.
I proceeded to ask him about shipping and he told me that he charges for shipping, but maybe I could get a discount, but he wasn't being specific with me. Maybe I could get free delivery, maybe I can't! Either you charge or you don't, and in all honesty I would have paid! I asked about delivery times, and he told me that I was asking too many detailed questions. He actually said that to my face. He actually said that buying furniture, it's like a marriage, a process, and I just wanted everything all at once! (Well, duh!) His flier stated he could do same day delivery, yet he told me to my face it would take 2-3 days. I asked direct questions because I was serious and trying to schedule doing business with him, why could he not understand that?
Throughout our conversations up until then, when I asked him about his inventory he would always mention that I can't do better, he has been in business for forty years, and I will never find quality furniture at the prices he offers. The truth is, yes I can, and I have. He also kept offering me discounts "for me only", and I wasn't convinced they were truly discounts, because who talks like that? And when I went home and compared his prices against other stores I visited, he is actually more expensive, and that was with the "discount" he gave me, and that was before shipping costs I would have to pay, or I wouldn't have to pay, because he couldn't give me a straight answer. I think he made up his prices as he went along.
At that point, he probably thought he was doing me a favor, and I got the vibe that he didn't take me seriously, all. The truth is, I can afford it, and I was ready to order, I just didn't want to pay interest, because his advertising stated I didn't have to! And if I had known that he is adverse to financing, maybe I would have planned better and gotten an interest free credit card. I would have been willing to to that. If you don't want me to ask about financing, don't offer it.
Anyway, I am writing a very long and detailed review, because I have noticed that when people leave him negative reviews, (not very many but he does have them) he sometimes denies they ever visited his store, and that he's never heard of them and calls them scammers. I take my reviews very seriously and I am prepared for him to disagree with me and blame it all on me or "miscommunications", but I can back up everything I have written here. I was definitely there and I have the ordersheet he wrote me with my "discounts".
One more thing, He was very polite to me when an older, conservative interior decorator couple was in front of me, and this couple had a lot of money, but his demeanor changed towards me after they left. Avoid this store/owner (just do a search and owner’s name will appear) at all costs and read all the reviews especially this one!
Let me first start off with my honest mistake (not even a mistake, just a dishonest store owner) paying for my furniture order at this store in full via personal check (given the strict time line I had). Had I stopped a minute and read the previous reviews I would have been spared.
First off, I went in the store made a big purchase. Within days of the purchase the owner contacts me stating, “all is on track”, (really just buying time to manipulate my receipts by cancelling items and only delivering a minuscule part of my order), while fleeing with my money; meanwhile, only to be manipulating my receipts and cancelling items (illegal). When asked he stated, “oh, it’s just our systems, all is ok for your delivery”. Days, after, that same issue, more receipt manipulation by him or his worker (a true crime, it’s illegal to manipulate receipts). After calling and getting the same story, I caught on, as he started to make deliveries little by little. Only in the end to not deliver many of the items he was cancelling and I paid for in full. I was ripped off thousands! After, reviewing the reviews, I find he rips people off as a practice, for many have similar stories.
I then went to the store to confront him personally. No wonder he has a worker to take the orders and then he is only involved in the communication of feeding you lies. Long story short, when I arrived his employees calls him and puts him on speaker (he is hardly at store only watching cameras from afar because so many people come in with issues of him ripping them off that he knows to never be around). Luckily the assistant must have felt guilty and left him on speaker, for he advised her to call the police. Hearing that and being Black in the US, I knew the time. I happily called the police myself! When the cop arrived and got both stories he advised him to, and I quote, “give the buisness woman her money back!” To no avail, he then offers the cop to offer me like 1/3 of what I’m due. I immediately decline and the cop and I walk out filing a police report on him and his unmonitored unregulated thief buisness.
Long story short, in the end I had to sue him; spending thousands more to get my thousands back, only for him to walk away 3 years later (due to covid, courts backed up) basically unaccountable and still practice his thievery.
Moreover, beware, he claims to practice only online (Shame on the state of Florida, BBB, and all other so called regulatory agencies that have been contacted throughout by myself and others, but did absolutely nothing on the consumers behalf to protect us and still let’s this thief continue to operate and rip people off).
**Side-note: This thief and his buisness claims to be strictly online, but this is false; for investigators found that he is very much still operating at the actual store?!?!?!
Hopefully, I have spared some hard working and honest people this nightmare, for the law and so called governing/protective consumer agencies obviously feel it’s fine for a thief to blatantly manipulate receipts (a crime) and not shut him down, or at least investigate him off of complete reviews alone. At minimal a class action suit now needs to be filed, since the law and governing consumer agencies turn a blind eye to a blatant thief!
Bottom line: Stay away from Venini Furniture online and ESPECIALLY in this thief’s (the owner) store.
You been for-warned, heed and don’t loose your money or waste your time...

The delivery day come and we was so happy it was for my daughter that was so happy! Installer arrived he worked by it selff and it is big piece to unload he start working and i saw that he his not professional and i offer him help to unload sence i was worry about the bed he start to install it took him time to find out how to install the bed he didn't had the right tools thank god i am a conractore so i bring him tools to be able to indtall the bed Finally he done , and we found a hull in the front part of the bed he took a pictuer and me too i called the owner he said no worry i will replace it for you i was happy he sound nice buttttt here start the problem !!!!!! It was before jewish holiday and we bouth jewish so he said aftet the holiday i said ok thank you! after the holiday i called ( 2 weeks laiter) he said next week and again and again till i was upset and he said i need to order it for you i told him is all most 2 months why you don't ordered? Again storry!!! He start to tell me i don't need to replace it for you sence it's tow months already i was so upset i told him what i think about him and his service i have all text massage with him from day one with pictuer and prove ,even his installer approved it. Till today it is already 5 months he didn't come he doesn't answer my call or text!!!! DON'T BY THERE SAVE YOU MONEY!!!!!
