Moments Tux Shop — Local services in Pleasant Valley Township

It has taken me a lot to go back in and edit my review to moments. When I seen them at the expo 8 months ago they had great customer service and their attitude was so positive, so I went in and seen what they had and decided to use them!!

I have 4 kids, 2 fathers, 1 officiant, 2 ushers, and 5 groomsmen/best men, & then of course my husbands. This totals 15 suits. Think about the cost for a second… We have gave this business over 3000!!! Let me start off by saying this out of EVERY SINGLE SUIT, ONLY 1 WAS 100% correct!!!

Ushers: 1 was out of town and it was delivered and it was 100% correct! The other usher sadly had his entire pant leg rip down his leg after telling the place it was a bit tight on legs and he had some concerns, and they told him that it was fine!

Groomsmen: EVERY SINGLE ONE MESSED UP! From shirts too big, too small, shoes ordered wrong, and my personal favorite was the one where they accidentally ordered a short pant instead of a regular.

Father’s: My father’s was wrong with shoes and jacket. When I expressed my concern they told me I was wrong and it was suppose to be like that, and I had to give push back! The others father was told it was delivered to his house, and turns out it never was.

Officiant: THE ENTIRE THING WAS WRONF AND HAD TO BE FIXED!!

Kids: Besides every suit having an issue such as too small, too big, shoes ordered wrong, they weren’t great with them. My husband told them that my children needed to go first knowing he has ADHD and struggles really bad in busy places at times, and they shrugged him off. I guess the guys helping was a complete jerk to my husband (THE GROOM!!!)

Husband: EVERYTHING WRONG. THE DAY OF WEDDING HE COULD NOT EVEN MOVE HIS ARMS MUCH AND COULDN’t WEAR THE JACKET LONG!! When he got them to fix it he still had to go by his own white shirt because they stated there was nothing they could do. Guess what?!

After everything was getting messed up I was a very very very stressed bride. I didn’t have one single bit of stress until they were messing everything up THE WEEK OF MY WEDDING! I got everything finally and made sure I asked if they had everything twice. They forgot a pair of shoes and I had to turn around and go back and get them. I was very calm and relaxed because I understand it’s 15 different suits and things get mixed up. However…. MY HUSBANDS POCKET SQUARE WAS MISSING!!! We had to go the day before the wedding and pick it up.

Anyways when I called I called probably 1 too many times, but I’m sorry if you’re open at 10AM and I am calling during operating hours you should not be getting upset with someone for calling and tell the bride out of all people; and let me add. This was the owner that said this… “this is an A& B situation, I am not to be involved. They need to put their big boy pants on and if I can’t tell them that then they will.” Please keep in mind I have laughed and shrugged everything off because they have the right to refuse service and there was only 2 pleasant people there. EVERY SINGLE MAN THAT WORKS THERE, THE OWNER ESPECIALLY WAS A JERK!! The two women there!! Hands down the sweetest and most understanding women.

Now that I have used moments, and I have shared horror stories I am hearing others and it is starting to make sense. I hope this helps give an honest view of moments.

My fiancé and I are getting married this fall and we wanted a fall color scheme. So, we tried all the go to shops to find a green tux with no luck. We found this shop after looking at some local options and we couldn't be happier. We found the exact color and fabric we wanted and the experience was the best of my life. Ive rented many tuxes for friend weddings and prom, and this place is hands down my favorite.

I went in to try on my wedding tux, and while it fit like measured-I was a little uncomfortable with how tight it was. The gentleman and lady that worked with me had encouraged me to re order the pants. I was hesitant but they could tell it would fit more like what I wanted, even if the suit was meant to be more slim fit. They had me walk around, sit, and stretch out. They spent so much time with every little detail to ensure it was perfect for my wedding and that I was comfortable. This level of service is so refreshing, I cant thank them enough.

Moments Tux Shop exceeded our expectations. We were there to have my fiancé and son fitted for our upcoming wedding. From the moment we walked through the door, Dustin and his wife rolled out the red carpet. I regret not getting her name. Dustin listened to Kirk and provided him with all the details he needed in making his decision. He was professional, friendly, and made us feel right at home. They were also engaging with our 5 year old, making him comfortable with his first tailor experience and brought out toys and books to entertain him. This is an out of town wedding with many guests all over the place, and they totally took the reigns. Nothing more was expected of us after giving their information. They reach out to the wedding party individually. We left Moments feeling like we had had one of the most enjoyable experiences during this whole planning process. Thank you!
