Every time I’ve been here I really enjoyed everything, I thought the staff was very awesome Joann was so sweet and cool I felt like she had a genuine soul her and her husband, they just felt real. I’m really surprised some people didn’t pick up on that, they also know a lot about everything. The store has such a historic vibe to it and they really do have a lot of knowledge on the area and instruments. And I think if your really trying to learn the instrument and study off of string builders the teachers are perfect classic and educated they almost always have a great background too and it’s pretty affordable. Defintely the best teachers in south Jersey in my view of things. Another thing is the teachers are a bit older and very professional in their lesson and have better insight into your music because their going to be a lot more by the book instead of some young person who’s treating it kind of like an experiment or band practice where they ask what you wanna do. The teacher would probably see where you are where your style is and make a few suggestions on jazz or blues string builders maybe even learn a song. In other words a lesson will occur that’s more fundamental which is really the only way to learn, through building the concepts versus...

We rented two babygrand pianos from Joanne for a musical competition in Atlantic City. Both instruments were sub par for competitive standards, and one was two-toned, dirty on the inside, moleded, and had playability issues. Although I provided pictures and video of the issues, Joanne gave the following excuses: "I am sorry, yes, I did know about the two-tone finish. I personally, have not looked closely or moved the music rack back, to see some of what you pointed out. The piano tuner takes care of our pianos and addresses all issues that need attention. The piano was recently played to have a video clip for a potential customer, so I knew it worked well. This piano, Baldwin R1 is our vintage celebrity piano which has been played originally by Liberace, who autographed it with his artwork, since many others including B.B. King, Cindi Lauper.... This is the first time we have had a complaint.
