Working in the area for months, staying right next door when in town. Due to limited choices I was eating out of the sandwich deli everyday. Everyone else I dealt with in deli was great. If you see a blondish woman, was there the afternoon of 23 September, walk, no run away. Really rotten attitiude. Couple of examples, last week asking if she still had soup the answer I got is, "it's still on the board isn't it", nice, thanks for that condescending answer, funny two weeks ago when I ordered a soup that was still on the board she said "there is none" so board or no board. Well yesterday I filled out the order slip for a sandwich and was standing there silently waiting for her to acknowledge me, I got really really rudely, "just leave it on the counter". Nevermind, I put everything back from my basket, should have left it on the floor where I stood, and walked out. I know I'm only one customer but hopefully the review pushes other prople to other options. I will find any other option...

unusually, inappropriately expensive prices. serious gouger territory. prepare to leave the place reeking of foul, stale fried chicken even after being inside for as little as five minutes. plan on doing laundry and might not want to wear your best suit. deli/meat counter looked disgusting, dirty, what looked like rotting, weeping meat on the shelves. dried out, oxidized meat in the cold case. cheap, cheap, cheap. probably old product and poor handling and refrigeration. without a doubt the worst, most dismal, pathetic organic produce section i have ever witnessed. wilted, literally rotting, rat's nest forest of withering slop that looked like it had been rummaged through by seagulls, an implied message from the management that absolutely screams "WE DON'T CARE". this place obviously takes zero pride whatsoever. sad sack of a market, in...

Great local selections of gourmet items to be found here with a good fish/ meat counter but very unfriendly employees. The cashier opened a paper bag and pushed it across the counter for me to bag my own groceries- just no. I am recovering from a shoulder injury and she refused to help my husband finish bagging our 10 small items. She just left our items on the counter and tossed the receipt our way. Super disappointing attitude after we spent a fortune. And we always do. You get the feeling they’re fairly biased against tourists which is a shame because I send all guests, friends and family here when they visit. Try Gualala Supermarket for friendlier service.
