Has got to be the worst golf course in Idaho, assuming you want to refer to it as a golf course. The desert like conditions definitely need water. I don't think this course has received watetr since the flood of Noah. Very hard and totally uneven ground, including the fairways and tee boxes. Nearly impossible to get a divot. $3.50 for a Diet Coke and their go to line is, "It goes to a good cause." Wow! And Jim is right, the "punk" at the front desk just told me I don't know what I'm talking about when I shared my feedback about the course conditions. If this is the kind of quality that the Elks puts out, I want nothing to do with the Elks. I would not golf at this golf course again even if you put a gun to my head. It's only future is in being turned into the worst largest prairie dog villiage or to change its' sign and continue to expand operations as a toxic waste dump. Don't waste you...
Read moreI will say I have played this course at least once a week for the past 5 weeks. It is in really good condition. The staff is great. The greens are a bit challenging as you have to land short of the flag and run to the flag going long, or flying at the flag is not a great option here, even with spin. For a 9 hole course it is set up nicely with 2 different tee boxes for the front and back, so it presents different challenges. There are some holes that are very tight where out of bounds is concerned especially if you slice or hook depending on if you are a righty or lefty. The cost even walking is a little steep for what the course is, & it is why I am giving it a 4...
Read moreWe stayed in mid September and it was great. There were two grassy lawn areas that could comfortably hold a half dozen or so RVs. It’s mainly a golfing place but there is a nice lounge. Unfortunately there is no WiFi access as advertised. The hotspot is there but the password is not. We asked the Bartender for it and she said she had tried but no one would give it to her. We asked the Pro Shop attendant and she said that “He” insisted none was necessary. That did not seem to be the case. Other than that it was a pretty nice stay. Some traffic and train noise but not too bad at all for the price; we donated $20 to the Pro Shop Attendants Flower Fund...
