Fairbury American Legion Speedway — Local services in Pontiac

Fairbury is a nationally famous track for a reason. Everything about the track is phenomenal. Easy parking. The track is run beautifully, efficient, fair, good care taken of everything from the track to the restrooms to the concessions to the officials. This how every track should aspire to be. Everyone is respectful and like family. You will never meet a better group of people than those at dirt tracks. If you've never been to this magnificent place, don't wait any longer and enjoy everything it has to offer. If you have questions about anything, all you have to do ask someone sitting nearby, everyone is more than happy to ensure everyone is having a great time. Concessions are great price with a variety of options. Seating comfortable. Show some love to your local tracks.

From what I understand, this speedway is one of the bigger ones in the Illinois area. I went there for the annual Fairbury fair and it was tons of fun! I’m not sure what they offer year-round, but going to the fair was a lot of fun and they had many rides and games and good food! The races were done very professionally and handled with care. The bathrooms were mostly sanitary and the bleachers were fairly comfortable. There is only one small section of the bleachers that is covered by an awning so if it is a rainy day, I would suggest bringing an umbrella and/or raincoat. I'm a traveling worker and a racer so when I'm away at work I try to visit as many dirt tracks as possible. Aside from the great show and unbelievable track prep I must say that the people running this track and the racers hospitality was second to non I introduced my self to the track promoter and told him I was a racer from Arkansas and how much I love the show he took me out on the track to look at the surface and introduced me to some great racers. The fans were just as kind a older gentleman in the stands explained about all the drivers and races to come. These people were a class act and I recommend anyone to go to this family...
