University Place Apartments — Local services in Pontiac

When we originally moved here in 2015 the apartment was great; however, since the end of 2016 this complex has took a huge nose dive. Tenants that have lived here for 10 years are now leaving. We have NO maintenance, the condition of our apartments are deteriorating, and we’ve had mice. We called regarding the mice and I never received a call back. I have a 10 month old living at home that we can longer safely live here. We have resolved the mice problem by taping up the utility closet where they’re coming from but who knows how long it will be before they start making their way in through other areas. We have a leaking refrigerator with an awful smell, our air conditioner doesn’t kick out enough air to heat the living room since last summer. We also have constant mildue buildup in the ceiling of our bathroom. We’ve bleached and cleaned it multiple times, even treated it with CLR, but with no maintenance there’s no one to look at it. I would never recommend living here unless you’re okay with the problems listed above. The only two pros I have are the layout of the apartment with the balcony, the car port, and the flexibility of late...

This place seriously is a joke! Maintenance doesn’t want to fix shit and if they do anything it’s half assed!!!! If anything breaks they want to charge you to replace it! The blinds are so old they just fall apart, air conditioners suck and they are old and when you say something to them it’s oh it’s like that because it’s so hot out smh no it’s like that because it’s old and needs replaced! The screens don’t fit the windows correctly and to get the one that fits they want to charge you $50 for a screen! Also it’s hard to open the windows! The closet doors fall apart! They got rid of the kids play ground so the kids literally have nothing to do and their pool doesn’t work so that should explain a lot!!!!! They need the other lady back in the office they had 4...

This apartment complex is very lazy. They don’t fix anything. You have to fix it yourself. I’m trying to figure out when will they get new AC. These ACs are way over...
