I love being here! Sunrise is always beautiful on the beach. There's a brand-new golf-cart and pedestrian boardwalk that is very well-built. The dunes are covered in sunflowers and flowering cactus. The beach is lovely and the water is warm! Perfect!

Port A is my home so I have nothing but good things to say. I do wish the visitors would remember to tip their wait staff well as that is how they survive. The beach is well maintained and cleaned by our hard working city maintenance workers who pick up after those who don't realize it's windy here. Oh HEY ITS WINDY HERE! Plan accordingly please. Oh and for all y'all's safety don't go up into the dunes, spiders, rattle snakes and coyotes live up in there. Not to mention the plants that are there to destroy...

Had the best time there the beach was lovely. The sand is white almost silky very smooth. They have outdoor shower heads which you can get a quick rinse before getting on your vehicle for free. We went for Memorial weekend was very crowded and theres a $16 permit that must be purchased to park......only thing is you kind have to fit in where you can and try to figure out how to get out on your own... $16 for no control what so ever. But then again it would be a better idea to go on any...
