There is no way to really explain just what the place is. If giving haircuts makes it a barber shop then it's a barber shop. But any 'Quiky Clips' can do that, though usually not for eight bucks. And 'Quiky Clips' won't sell you a guitar and teach you to play it the way they do here. Certainly none of those McClips places with shelves of overpriced shampoo has vintage Hendricks and Joplin posters on the walls. Yet somehow the place feels like Andy Taylor and Barney Fife might step in at any minute.

I am born and raised in Schuylkill County and must have driven by here countless times on my way to get a haircut spending upwards of $30 only to leave disappointed. However, that has all changed, though, after discovering this barber shop. I left with an amazing haircut that has already received compliments. The staff was extremely welcoming and the shop itself has an old school Americana charm you just don't find anymore. I need to make sure the next time I get a haircut I have some time to just sit and hang out and talk and learn some things.
