This place is rad. Super nostalgic, you can find almost any type of candy available in existence along with trail mixes & 4 types of roasted peanuts. We got several candies for ourselves, our kids & my inlaws.
Just don't ask for O'Henry or Sky Bars, they do not carry them. They also don't have any type of gluten free chocolates or gf chocolate pretzels although I'm not surprised, just disappointed. When I inquired about the fudge, she said "I think its gluten free", but I'm not risking getting sick on a guess. Please don't guess & risk getting people sick. I was very clear about having Celiac disease, too.
They sell the peanut brittle by the pound but wouldn't sell me less than half a pound, which I found strange since they have a scale.
There's elephants decorated throughout the store in honor of peanuts, & I love that because they're my favorite animal.
We were allowed to sample the different types of peanuts before making our selection (we got extra roasted, the most delicious of the bunch!)
Worth checking out if you're in the area but I wouldn't travel a long...

What about the smell of roasting peanuts and the crackling of the wooden floor as you walked in so excited? Well this place is AMAZING and it will turn back the clock of your childhood age quickly. The staff are great and they know many items what your searching for. The collection of PEZ candies and the dispensers will blow you away, ranging from muppets, star wars and cartoon network. This place is a diamond in the rough and you would be so happy you stopped and went. Make sure you bring cash or credit card. We spent over $68 on the mostly the dehydrated fruits, from apricot, mango, strawberries and many other fruits. Give those a try... they are WONDERFUL and...
Read moreI went after work last week (Wednesday after 4). I was not greeted or even glanced at upon my entrance which to me isn’t appropriate considering I was the only one in there at that time. The person working was not busy. There is a lot to look at so when I asked for a specific candy, the lady said “you don’t see it?” and pointed in their direction. There could’ve been many other ways of stating this to me. It was off- putting and rude. I truly did not see the candy despite going around twice. Additionally, asking the employee for any kind of assistance with getting items out from behind the counter were met with sighs and minimal interest. Candy is decently priced, however, I’d rather give my business to...
