Update: Nov 2019. More recent photos. Rocket still standing after recent mishap. Lots of activity at launch site.

Update: Sept 2019. Recent photos of project!. Lots of activity at both sites.

Update: June 2019. Construction continues on rocket and launch pad. Come and visit before area is closed in prep for launching.

This is truly an amazing sight to see. I've been blessed to be able to see their growth weekly. Having a SpaceX employee in the family has been interesting, and great to see people come from all of the States to see these awesome vehicles. If you haven't been by to take a look at the launch site....please do. Its absolutely beautiful around 7:30 every morning. It's a must see...you won't be...

You must go thru a Border patrol checkpoint going and coming from the SpaceX sites Just FYI.. They are going full steam on the infrastructure. Its busy 24/7/365. The new rocket building site is massive and several new stacks are being put together @ the same time.. Very impressive.. Puts NASA 2 shame.....

Seeing the dishes standing proud and using my imagination to sense the raido waves traveling at the speed of light from the rocket reflecting off the dish focused on a couple of polarized baby antennas to establish communication with the space vehicle keeps me in awe. Physics is so cool!

I passed by SpaceX on my way to Boca Chica Beach. I have not been to Boca Chica Beach in quite some time. I was impressed by the size of the facility. There seemed to be a large number of people working. We passed at least 3 Tesla's heading into town on the way over.

I passed by SpaceX on my way to Boca Chica Beach. I have not been to Boca Chica Beach in quite some time. I was impressed by the size of the facility. There seemed to be a large number of people working. We passed at least 3 Tesla's heading into town on the way over.
