So interesting to watch the construction of Starships, GSE tanks, manufacturing facilities, and the infrastructure needed to support a future city. No visitor center or tours available as of today, but what is visible from the road is unprecedented for a space company. Make sure to stay on the public side of things, private property signs are posted throughout so pretty easy to tell where you can and can’t go. Be respectful of the employees privacy and blur out their faces when posting pictures! Don’t push the boundaries and security won’t need to come over. The importance of this small sliver of land in South Texas, right on the border of Mexico is felt literally in the air. We are witnessing history, and coming here to watch where humanity will leap to Mars and beyond is a profound experience. Take in as much as you can while visiting, and make conversation with fellow travelers. I had some very cool conversations with other SpaceX fans, from geeking out over the future to hearing amazing stories. You won’t regret coming here! Some may think this is a billionaires vanity project, or just a construction site and that it’s no big deal. They are wrong… the scale and pace at which SpaceX is able to innovate is something I have never...

Visit now while activity is ongoing, day and night, so you can feel the excitement and energy amazingly close up. It is changing, by necessity I'm sure. Walls and fences growing. More side roads ( not that there were many) being closed to public travel. First visit Sept 2019, last visit Sept 2020. Im sure by Sept 2021, will be impressive but more distant from public road view. GO NOW...

It’s amazing what they are doing here. It’s very cool how close you can get to the facilities. There is NO visitor center which is disappointing and the reason for 4 stars. Unless your really into rockets, space, and technology your going to be disappointed. The public beach at the end of the road is nice and you can drive right...

Like others have said, i can't believe this is semi open to the public. It's like being able to walk up to the old Apollo rockets while waiting to go up to space. This was fantastic, especially for an Aerospace nerd. Also, if you get this far, drive the other 3 min further to see the actual launch pad. Very cool to see as well.

It is awesome out here, every couple of months they add more stuff. If you want to do anything out here besides the beach it is not for you. If you admire and love watching space progress then you’ll love it. They have the rockets right next to the road. And the orbital launch tower is being built which will be soo tall!!
