It's a nice little convenience store on 101. Similar to Handy Andy's, R&H Market, 7 Eleven, etc.. It has a little bit of everything from what I saw. I was only on the floor five minutes max; and that's being generous. I found the water jugs pretty quickly. The prepared food smelled delicious, the cooler options had a great variety, plenty of frozen options, take & bake pizzas prepared(I imagine for those with EBT to enjoy as well; they do accept ebt here btw), and basically just anything you might need randomly; without having to deal with grocery store hassle and traffic. Read morePeninsula Food Store has been a Quilcene staple for as long as I can remember. It's a small store with a little bit of everything to get you through your day or your camping trip. When I was stung by wasps, this little store had benadryl and I safely made it to the Silverdale urgent care. Any time I come into town, I always stop here to buy drinks and snacks for a day of exploring the woods. Came across the Peninsula Food store on way back from Olympic NP, glad we stopped. Saw a guy leaving the store with mighty large ice cream cone and said to my wife "guess I know what we are having for lunch". I had a large cup of chocolate peanut butter cup and root beer float. It was stuffed so high I had to eat it like an ice cream cone at first, and the ice cream was delicious. My wife had a waffle cone and had to ask the server to hold off on putting in the last scoop, it was already quite large.
