Bayside RV Park, Marina & Bait Shop — Local services in Port Vincent

Me and my 2 kids lived there for 6 months or so and the lady that would run the golf cart was nice but the manager was rude and told me my kids couldn't play outside even supervised with me watching them. When it rained it would flood so bad you couldn't move the rv out . Had to wait til it dried up some to do that . We were told to shut the air off and power off before we left and you had to get a P.O. box also cause I was told the mail wouldn't come in the mail box at all. Everyone was told the same rules and thats why you pass by you dont see kids outside they cant play outside . If youre an elderly I guess it would be okay or didnt have kids . But you couldn't do fires outside you would be told not to. Alot of people moved out when you pass by you see its half empty . Now Lakeside is the place to go and live if you can . Its all retired folks and the kids grandkids can visit and go fishing and its a covered rv park and the manager is awesome there . But you have to call in advance to get a place to live there. But everyone is nice and you can grill outside and they have a patio . Its quiet peaceful there . Highly recommend . And you have your own mailbox to get mail from. Infact when we got the rv Mary from Lakeside said directly we really dont like kids here ummmm you didnt say BEFORE we moved there . And it was already kinda to late . We moved out as soon as we could . Mary would do what the manager told her. But total living rv welcomes kids on the weekends and lets them stay the night. Its just so cool there.. and very beautiful and they also allow boats they...

Stayed here for a few months while working in the area. Absolutely loved it! Mrs. Coni is such a sweet lady and very helpful. The campground is quiet, clean, and safe. Like to fish? There's a boat launch with direct access to the Amite River! Would definitely stay here...
