Brought in a push mower purchased at Lowes that was giving trouble, but in the warranty period. Owner or manager had me bring it around the back to drop it off and asked what I had done to it so far. Checked spark plug? Checked oil, etc? Told him yes, I had done the normal trouble shooting and it was not running that's why I was here. His response was, "once my mechanic touches it, it is $89 an hour"(whatever his labor amount was). My thoughts were, what if it is a warranty issue, but I needed to get it fixed and asked for a call to let me know what it is. A week after dropping it off I had not heard anything so I placed a follow up call. Women over the phone was very nice and checked on the status for me, but came back and said she was sorry no one had called but I was next in line. I said no problem. Fast forward to a week later and still no call from them. I again call and speak this time with the owner/manager. He has no clue who I am when I call and puts me on hold. Comes back and says they havnt got to it yet. I say ok and mentioned to him that I was told the week before I was next in line. We hang up and then I get a call back from him a few minutes later saying his guy had looked at it and it is bad fuel. I thought that was ironic being that minutes ago they had not looked at it, now all of a sudden they think they know what it is. I myself am a service manager with a dealership and nothing about this situation made sense from the start. My wife was so frustrated, she then called back and told them we would come get it. I showed up a few days later and when I asked for my mower the unprofessional owner/manager said "we could have had your mower fixed by now". Needless to say, this place will never get my business again due to this one guy. Everyone else I spoke with while there was polite, but this guy was the one in charge. We had the tint put on by a professional window tint installer and he insured it was legal. We then told the owner do not put a failed inspection tag on our car, he still said he had to charge us. We started talking about some art that someone there did,and is in display in the store,the pictures were amazing ,and then I saw on that was painted the store clerk. It took my breath away.
