Edited to add (regarding the company's reply): No harassment, just one review with the facts. We were told he would be provided a bed. He was injured while there. And we were heartbroken by what happened. Neither one of us got a tour.

We contacted them earlier this year about boarding our dog for 5 days. We spoke with two different people who told us not to bring his personal bed, because they know how to easily clean their own beds, and that they would provide one (an actual bed, not just the "cot" with the hard mesh). At no point did they tell us he would not have a bed. If this is what they're going to do, the concrete floors should be finished and not so rough that they can injure animals who stay for a longer period of time.

When we picked him up, we found that his elbows were injured and one of them was actually bleeding, due to lying on concrete for 5 days.

I sent the pictures to Camp K-9 and called. I spoke with the person who answered the phone, and she had me talk to the kennel manager, Nick, who told me they didn't give him a bed because they didn't know if he'd chew it up. He didn't seem at all concerned about what happened, just making excuses and acting like it was no big deal.

Our dog is a big gentle baby, they could have watched him for an hour or two and known he wouldn't chew it up.

When I spoke with the owner, Karen, she was nice and seemed sorry that it had happened, did give a refund, but still tried to excuse it. This is inexcusable.

When I think about him lying on the concrete for 5 days... it just breaks my heart. We never would have taken him there if we had any idea something like this would happen.

Also, they ignore any text messages that come through on the weekend. They also said they would send pictures throughout his time there, and only sent some on ONE of the five days.

These photos are after his “exit bath” after we got him home. The people who bathed him didn’t even notice, which tells me they don’t really pay attention to the condition of...

Please remove my name as I obviously do not want it attached to this profile, and have not for a long time. You are endangering my online safety and it is incredibly unprofessional. I do not want nor need your prayers. My mother and I are two separate people who have similar experiences with businesses. We are allowed to separately review our experiences. And our experience with your business was separately unpleasant in different ways. Goodbye.

Update: I am not Tracey and I was NOT ALLOWED into the back of the facility, and was never given the option for a full tour of the facility before boarding. I dropped my dog off for a day, was not allowed into the back room, and picked him up 2 hours later and he seemed fine. So I foolishly boarded him. The refund does not remove your business's accountability in injuring and neglecting care for my dog. You are blatantly lying about that policy.

Would never board my dog here. Glad the training goes well, but overnights are a hard no from me. Received no communication during my dog's 5 day stay, he came back injured, and none of the employees were friendly at drop off or pick up. If anything, they seemed annoyed at having to interact with me.

I asked to see the kennel area and they point blank refused me entry to see where the dogs stay, ENORMOUS RED FLAG. Please board your dogs elsewhere, it was...

Both of my dogs have boarded here numerous times and they always take great care of my dogs. One of my dogs, Brick, is very high fear/anxiety and a high risk of biting. They train their staff very well on how to handle dogs like my own, and I’m so thankful for them. Recently, after a couple years of boarding my dogs here, I was able to do the behavioral modification training for my high fear/anxiety dog, Brick, with Alicia one of their trainers. My dog has gone through board and training before with other trainers at other facilities that claim to know how to help with this but were not successful with my dog. But Alicia and the staff at camp k9 truly know their stuff and has helped my dog so much. It’s going to be a long process for my dog and consistent training at home with me. One thing that is amazing to me is that since my dog completed that behavioral modification training with Camp K9 she will for life have access to the trainers if we ever need to work on more training that may come our way. I’ve never had a training facility offer that, and I think it just goes to show how much they care that you and your dog are successful.

Alicia posts training updates on her TikTok of my dog Brick, with my approval, and it’s amazing to follow if you want to see for...

Attention, dog parents! As you all know we are constantly implementing new policies to enhance your experience here at camp. Due to us approaching our busiest time of the year & our recent influx of new boarding clients - we have implemented brand new lobby check in procedures for our busy season to ensure the safety of all of our furry visitors & their pawrents! From now on we ask that before bringing your companion in - please check in at the front office so they can inform the back staff of your arrival. (Daycare/training that drops off in the early mornings- you are okay to bypass this and just come in as usual since we are not typically busy around those times. If the parking lot is full during those times, we do however advise you pop in first) This procedure especially during our busy hours makes for an easier transition for both you & your pet as well as helps us manage the number of dogs in the lobby, particularly with some of our more anxious training dogs frequently coming and going. We also kindly request that all dogs are leashed once you exit your vehicle; if you need a leash, just let them know at check in & our lovely office staff is more then happy to provide you with one. If you encounter other clients' dogs with your dog, please try to avoid face-to-face greetings while on a leash, and please always remember to ask permission before petting another clients dog, as safety is a priority. Lastly, we ask that you refrain from entering unauthorized areas without staff personnel present or open any windows from our lobby that lead into our play yards to ensure the safety of both you and your dogs. If there is no staff up front but staff out in the yards - ring the walkie and they will be right up to help you. (Pet parents that walk their kiddo to the door with staff for extra support are still okay to do so! ) Thank you all so much for your continued buissness & trusting us with giving top notch quality care for your loved ones while you are away. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause as stated above safety of all is our TOP PRIORITY. Thank you! -Camp K9 Management Team #campk9postfalls #northidahodogtrainer
