Since the ownership change, they've expanded the store, added an enormous walk-in beer cooler and have hot food like hotdogs and tornados! HUGE selection of beer, energy drinks and soda, as well as a great selection of vapes and cigarettes. Tons of snacks too! The cashiers are upbeat and friendly and even when they're in the middle of a big rush, with 5 or 6 people in line, they never lose their cool and are super friendly. Store is always clean and bright. My only complaint would be not carrying stuff like frozen ground beef, hotdogs, shredded cheese, tortillas, taco shells, boxed Macaroni and cheese, canned corn, canned peas and hamburger or tuna helper. It's a middle class neighborhood, with middle class tastes in food. For us middle class folks, we'd love to just run down to our local convenience store to put together that last minute dinner, instead of going to Walmart or Super 1. Maybe add a few more automotive items like antifreeze and fix-a-flat for my vehicle. Maybe some cheap shaving cream and razors. Mark up the prices on that stuff, I'm paying for the convenience of being able to get it there. We know we're buying generic stuff at a higher price, but if it saves us from having to drudge through the big box stores, we are willing to pay a little extra for the convenience! Paper plates and plastic forks would be awesome too! Otherwise, it's an A1 store that's improving...
Read moreI have never experienced such horrible and rude customer service in my life. I went to purchase cigarettes. The older blonde lady asked to see my ID. Which by the way I'm 24. She barely looked at it then said no and ignore me so I said what? Then she told me to get out. So I was confused because I barely heard her the first time. Then she told me that it wasnt me, there are other stores and to move along. So i was like okay but this is me, this is my ID. Because I'm not wearing makeup it's not me? Then she told me that it doesnt look like me and again to get out and bye. In such a rude way. You are absolutely allowed to refuse service, but you dont have to be so rude about it. I'm absolutely appalled at her horrible attitude from the get go. As soon as I walked up to the counter she had a bad attitude. I cannot believe how rude...
Read moreThis is a very tiny neighborhood market. The food isn't too terribly overpriced. I gave it four stars because I'm glad it is there... couldn't give it five because there's so much room for improvement. For three years I had no car and whenever I walked past this place I could stop in to get cold life-saving water, or buy a few groceries to take home with me. The store fills a need for a lot of people in the area who can't manage to get to a large supermarket. I only wish there was more variety - but it is small and I'm sure they're doing the...
