L&E is, by far, the best place to buy feed IMO. I went 2 months ago after having always purchased horse feed at Tractor Supply (who are very little help when I need advice). I rescued a horse that was emaciated and abused. I didn't know where to start in getting him back to a healthy weight. The young blonde girl and the Gentleman at the counter were unbelievable help! She explained the difference in the feed and what he would need. She took the time to educate me on his nutritional goals. The Gentleman at the counter also helped the 2nd time I was there and ensured me that I was on the right direction after looking at pictures of our new addition. I really like trading here. The only complaint happened just recently. Last year I tried the Safeguard Cattle Cubes and my cows weren't carzy about them but by the end of the day they ate most of them. This year I noticed they were in an L&E bag not the Safeguard bag. I put out 2 bags to the same number of cows and they only ate 1/2 of them. I think something besides the bag changed. It's Saturday and they're closed now but I'm gonna talk to them about it Monday.
